We can use our U-21 players here from HBT. I hope they already started their training to be competitive

Neil Etheridge should help us out while he's still young. He should join the Group stage for this year.

AFC U22 C'ship Qualifiers has been moved from June 23 - July 1 to June 2-10. It will be going on at the same time as the June Friendlies(Independence Day Cup)

That should mean we would lose services of some of the younger senior players should they decide to suit up for the U22. I hope the availability should be ironed out soon.

Seems that PFF believe that all groups are moved forward which is a bit strange , why would they have to change dates for all groups because of Nepal ?
I will check it...

Here is the relevant decision on the AFC website about the change of date. They didn't specify just one group: AFC U-22 Championship 1. Nepal’s request to change the date of the qualifiers from June 23 to July 1, 2012, to June 2-10, 2012, was approved. 2. The AFC U-22 Championship Finals to be played from January 11-26, 2014. 3. Fourteen Member Associations will qualify from the qualifying competition (the top two teams and the best third-placed team). The hosts will be given direct entry to the Finals. www.the-afc.com/en/news/38458-afc-competitions-committee-takes-key-decisions

Pampractice ito for youth team hehe Why not include PHI youth team such as U-22 in the UFL? Para may exposure ung U-22 natin hehe Like Harimau Muda (MAS U-21) playing in S-League kaya hindi sila basta bastang matalo eh nakakalaban ang malalakas na clubs from Singapore

Im inclined to think its a budget issue as to why they arent practicing a long time before the actual event.
From the way that Angelo M and Patrick Hinrichsen are conversing in twitter world, it seems that Coach Z will once again handle the youth team, he is, after all, still in the Philippines now. Since the U22 games are in June, our German based players will be off school(I believe) and therefore be able to train in the Philippines.
I agree with dingo, I hope the PFF has the foresight to establish a youth team to play together and have their own team and a full time coach in the UFL. This way, we can utilize local based players instead of hoping our Euros can come down every time there are youth tournaments. Imagine the possibilities!
