A match against an U-23 team won't affect our rankings.

It's better to have a game than no game. It's good for us since we are making noises to rule SEA region and soon in Asia.
I hope THA will confirm our invitation for June 8 game. I hope June 8, 2012 game will be in Bacolod City

Let's hope no one will be injured during their practice and during the season in Europe so that they could all play. We can now see a full team playing our rivals So excited. Hope IDN could settle their issue but if not still we can play them since June 15 is the deadline set by FIFA. What do you think is the range of the ticket prices? hehehe We'll now see Azkals full team playing together not just in Independence Day Cup but also in MAS game

Busy sked for AzkalsWednesday, 18 April, 2012 Written by Ronnie Nathanielsz THE Philippine Azkals, fresh from a third-place finish in the recent Asian Football Confederation Challenge Cup in Nepal, where striker Phil Younghusband won the Golden Boot award for scoring the most number of goals (six), face an exciting challenge in three matches lined up this June. Philippine Football Federation president Mariano “Nonong” Araneta told the Manila Standard that Malaysia had invited the Azkals to play one match in Kuala Lumpur on June 1 against its national team, which won the gold medal in the last Southeast Asian Games in Jakarta. The PFF had accepted the invitation. Araneta said that the Indonesian national team, which lost in the finals of the SEA Games to Malaysia, will visit Manila for a match against the Azkals on June 5, to be played at the Rizal Memorial Stadium or the Panaad Stadium in Bacolod City. Since China hasn’t responded to the PFF invitation to play the Azkals, in a celebration of Philippine Independence Day, Araneta said he had contacted the president of the Football Association of Thailand in Dato Worawi Makudi, inviting the Thai national team to play the Azkals on June 12.www.manilastandardtoday.com/2012/04/18/busy-sked-for-azkals-2/
I think we won't face Hong Kong since they are preparing for game vs Vietnam in Hong Kong on June 10. Why China will send its senior team against Vietnam? On June 8, CHN will host the game vs VIE. That's one reason why I think they are not responding to us. Even U-23 invite has no confirmation. If THA accepts game on June 12, What's our game on June 8, 2012 in Bacolod City? It can't be HKG.

Manila Standard Today wrote today that China has not responded so why do ABS CBN News announce China friendly now ?
Vietnam play Hong Kong on 10. June , I doubt that Hong Kong will be going to Bacolod on 8. June

That was I'm thinking In the the span of 2 days in separate countries. I'm really doubtful for HKG. For China. They're still not responding. I think THA might be our June 12 game but that is to be confirmed if they accept it when we speak to them during the AFC Congress here on April 21 and 22. So the final 2 games might be revealed on that date. We might know who will be our two opponents for June 8 and 12.

I hope on our friendlies, the match commissioner should be a man. If the commissioner is a woman, it might start another issue. Hope hindi na si Ramos ang commissioner dito baka gumawa nanaman siya ng story na hinarass nanaman siya.
Azkals should learn their lesson from the recent incident hope they have discipline about that.

Malabo natin makalaban ang CHN, VIE ang HKG. here's the reason VIETNAM TO PLAY CHINA AND HONG KONG IN JUNE HANOI (19 April 2012) – Vietnam have started their preparation for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012 when they have lined friendly matches against China and Hong Kong in June. Both games will be played away. Ngo Le Bang, the general secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), made the announcement this week where he said that the idea in having the team play away from home as part of plans to give the Vietnam team more international experience. Vietnam, which will play China on 8 June 2012, have never come up tops in six previous encounters while against Hong Kong which they will play two days later, the record stands at one draw and one loss from two matches. www.aseanfootball.org/?p=8165CHN vs VIE - June 8 HKG vs VIE - June 10
If PHI vs HKG game on June 8 in Bacolod, it's impossible they could make it there in 2 days. They don't have enough rest. I think THA might be one of our game on June 8 or 12 if they accept our invite. We'll know it this weekend since AFC Congress is this weekend here. PFF officials will meet their officials here. Hope they accept it. If HKG and CHN don't accept our request then find another opponent for 1 slot left if THA accepts 1 slot in match dates

Ace Bright's info is more probable to happen than in any mass media. I think THA might be our opponent on June 8 just wild guess THA confirmation is on April 21 - 22 when our officials meet them at AFC Congress. For CHN U-23 parang kawalang gana naman ang CHN. Anyway pwede na rin but it's more better if we face the senior team.

it could be more better if we face the senior team of Laos or Myanmar than facing the youth/U-23 team of China. i hope Thailand would accept our invitation.

Still no game for June 8. PFF should invite Asian countries from different Asian regions to play here. If nowhere to find then we can invite MYA of LAO.
Still on Azkals Website on June 12, we'll face CHN U-23 if that happens then if THA accepts our invite, they'll be on June 8 in Bacolod City.
By the way, what happened to our invited EPL teams? Do they already respond to our invitation or they won't come here? I don't receive updates about this. But if they go here, that's more awesome. If they went here hope it will happen after Independence Day Cup. Who knows
