Clarification: There are no Malaysia-Philippines (June 1) match tickets available at Ticketworld because the game will be held in Malaysia.

Team Malaysia FC and Harimau Malaya Facebook pages will update us on ticketing details in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for this friendly. As reported, it will probably be held at the Shah Alam Stadium in Selangor, due to renovations of the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil. Will inform you of more details as we get it.

The Malaysian Lineup is quite strong. with the additions of Norsharul, Aidil wan haikal and Ashaari (as said earlier)
Most of the players in this lineup had played at RMS last feb 29. Rohidan, Safee, Safiq, Fadhli, Shakir, Kharul fahmi, marlias, asra and kunanlan. (I hope I didn't miss anyone, I don't remember mahali jasuli last feb 29 because he had and injury vs Japan in the Olympic Qualifier)
Hmmm, This lineup would really test the Azkals because this lineup is well experienced and goal hungry (This is their Veteran lineup so far but still with support from Harimau Muda)

I hope Mueller and whoever mans the defense line will not give us disappointments. I want Sabio and Carli to step up their game more if Jonsson won't be able to make it, and Aly is not yet 100%. Good thing Juani will be available for this match.

Mohd Muslim Ahmad isn't included in the list... Maybe to give experience to other players?.But I have to say he is a very good defender and a big help to the Malaysian defense. I think he was here last feb 29 but he didn't play. Well come to think of him. I think Malaysia is fine with Aidil, Fadhli, Mahali and Asra in the back.

Fulham keeper was found guilty of violating Article 57 of the Disciplinary Code during the AFC Challenge Cup 2012 semifinal match against Palestine last March 19, 2012 and was also fined USD 3000. Article 57 Offensive behaviour and fair play

This is pursuant to AFC Disciplinary Code’s Article 38 paragraph 2 a), Article 38 Carrying over match suspensions 2. Younghusbands, Etheridge won't play vs MalaysiaABS-CBNnews.com Posted at 05/17/2012 7:27 PM | Updated as of 05/17/2012 7:27 PM MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Men’s National Football Team will be without striker Phil Younghusband, midfielder James Younghusband and first-choice goalkeeper Neil Etheridge when they take on Malaysia in a rematch on June 1 in Kuala Lumpur. Etheridge will be working as the guest match analyst during the match coverage for ABS-CBN Sports. The goal-keeper is serving a one-match suspension meted out by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) due to “unsportsmanlike conduct” during the AFC Challenge Cup last month. On Twitter, Etheridge said he would “prefer to be on the pitch, but I will enjoy.” The Younghusband brothers, meanwhile, will be unable to play as they have prior commitments. “We had a commitment we couldn’t get out of,” Phil said. “We won’t be able to play against Malaysia, but we’ll be watching the team and supporting,” James added. Last February 29 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium, the Azkals nearly pulled off an upset against Malaysia in their friendly when Filipino-German striker Denis Wolf scored on a diving header in the first half, giving the Philippines a 1-nil lead. But the Malaysians pulled off a comeback when Ahmad Shakir Mohd Ali equalized a minute into injury time. The Younghusband brothers will suit up for the Azkals when the play Indonesia on June 5 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium and Guam on June 12 at the Panaad Stadium in Bacolod. www.abs-cbnnews.com/sports/05/17/12/younghusbands-etheridge-wont-play-vs-malaysia

I think its personal matters. So our FW could be Wolf and Freddie ;D Who could replace JYH? For Phil, Freddie is the best substitute. I hope he is fit and ready to play international again

I hope he is fit and ready to play international again I'd rather pair Angel Guirado up front in place of Phil, although I'm concerned with their finishing. Freddie G is good if he can handle pacey Malaysian and Indonesian defenders. For as who to replace James, Stephan Schroeck is my best choice, as he has been effective as a winger both for the Azkals (against Kuwait) and for SpVgg Greuther Fuerth in the 2.Bundesliga. Carli can be the substitute.

Is Paul Mulders will come and play for the upcoming friendly? Now that Phil and James will not play for the Malaysian game the necessity for Paul Mulders to play is on high demand. Our attack will be anchored on the midfield. I prefer a 4-2-3-1 formation with wolf as the lone striker and 3 attacking midfielders are Angel Guirado,Chieffy Caligdong and Mulders. I'd like to see the the partnership of Juan Luis Guirado and Schrock ate the holding midfielders. We have Reichelt,Bahadoran and Gonzales as our subs for our attacks and for holding mifielders we have Moy and maybe we can use Carli as winger. The back four will be anchored by Sabio, Gier, Cagara, Borromeo and Lucena and maybe Carli.. Jonsson is not yet sure if he is available. Goodluck to the Philippine Azkals
