I believe Malaysia have cancelled the Australia trip and will stay in Malaysia before going to Manila. According to Wikipedia they will play Sabah Fa on 24. February . They had a friendly against Kelantan FA on 1. February winning 5-0 Due to this turn of events, Their Lineup has changed. So now you can expect Safee and Khairul to show up at RMS.

Defend RMS at all cost!!! Ulitin ang 1991 game pero much better results Let's make an upset. SURPRISE THEM with UPSET
If Safee and Khairul could make it. Then it will be a very tough game for us. If Safee would not leave ISL, then he will be banned from playing in national duty permanently. Maybe the 1-0 will repeat in 2012

Philippines 2-1 Malaysia Typical of a Weiss' coached team, they start out hot and very offensive. First goal by Denis Wolf via a rebound off of a blocked shot on goal by Phil Yh. 2nd half, Juan Luis Guirado, header from a corner kick to ice the game for the street dogs.

PHL 1 - 0 A great cross by JYH to Ian Araneta who heads the ball past the Malaysian GK... ;D ;D ;D

Is this just before or just after he stumbles and takes a dive with no one within a 1 kilometer radius touching him?

jonny,
we don't know that yet. maybe they will list some of those players for the Brunei tournament as well as for the AFC Challenge Cup. There is an overlap but presumably some of these players will only be part of the reserves although still officially part of the roster, for the Challenge Cup tournament and will not be needed during the group stage when some of our players from Europe will be available. If we get past the group stage of the Challenge Cup, we can recall some of these players from the Brunei tournament to fill out the roster as I presume some of our European based players will be recalled by their clubs. The Challenge Cup roster will depend upon how many of our European based players we can get and for how long.

My Fearless Forecast: 1-0 by Philippines via Header coming from great cross(free kick or attack) How bout yours? 2-1 by Philippines counterattack, either Wolf or Phil YoungH's Goal 30" to 45" blaster goal from our midfield players 50" goal by Malaysia 55" a build-up play..

Is this just before or just after he stumbles and takes a dive with no one within a 1 kilometer radius touching him? ...actually Ians shot happened like this: while running after the cross and the Malaysian pursuer getting left behind, Ian trips sideways from a clump of dirt stuck on his cleats and while falling the ball hits him on the side of the head. The goal keeper dumb struck by the hilarious absurdity of the situation misses the slow rolling ball... Goal Philippines for the win!

Is this just before or just after he stumbles and takes a dive with no one within a 1 kilometer radius touching him? Haha! My fearless forecast, Angel will fall down. Ok, seriously? It's a tough call. If we're playing with the team from the Long Teng Cup I'd say a nil-nil draw at best. For all my frustrations about Phil Y I still think he's SEA's "dangerman" so I think most of our shots on goal will come from him. With the team in the middle east camp, 1-0 for the RP because Phil's paired up with Wolf now plus Guirado.
