Football Analysts on FA, UEFA etc say that football game nowadays is about energy. Even Donovan of Galaxy(now Everton) said that although the AZKALs had talent they lack fitness. Ian Araneta could not cope up with Denis Wolfe. Sabio has definitely improved coz he said he lost 15 lbs. So Ian should shape up or ship out(sorry to say). While Angel Guirado on the other hand is fast he should learn to be decisive before passing. The tandem of Wolfe, James and Phil are very effective. But the latter seemed to be preparing the fans for leaving scenario from the National Team to be become professional somewhere. So, Sir Palami should start recruiting half-pinoy strikers aside from goalkeepers.

First of all, I would like to congratulate the AZKALs for being the new heroes of this generation. Hope they should always play 101% and that if they happen to become celebrities they should always try to look back where they came from which is the NATIONAL TEAM. As a Philippine saying goes "ang taong di marunong lumingon sa pinangalingan ay di makakarating sa paroroonan". To translate it to half-pinoy players- they could not reach their goal if they they lack the gratitude. The National Team should always be their first priority.

An article in defence of Ian Araneta: www.lifesomundane.net/2012/02/azkals-lose-to-roos-but-dont-blame.htmlAll I can say is you have to look at his body of work and not just one game in order to judge him properly. In the end, however he suggests that Beloya would have been the logical choice instead of Ian, to pair with Wolf in the absence of Phil Younghusband.

As for Sabio's recent impressive form, I think it has something to do with the mustache..

By the writing style, it might even be a Filipino maybe goal.com writer Hizon or Henson(?), that sports writer who supports Paul W against PFF? The same sports writer who asked Dennis Cagara why he wasn't in the 2011 SEAG! The article mentioned Martin Doctora, wasn't it Ruben Doctora Jr?
