@wiking: Matty Hartmann was a left-back during his Portsmouth days, and he also played left-back when he suited up for the NT about 6 years ago. Darren must've meant that he hadn't played that position in a long time. Does he have a future at LEFT CENTER BACK, possibly partnering with ALY???

The game against Chinese Taipei is at 5:30PM on Studio 23. But most websites are reporting that kickoff on TV will be at 7pm. So yeah, I'm a little confused.

I was really hoping if someone can provide any insight about the game between Taiwan and Macau. I haven't seen them play but an article posted earlier states that they have a more fluid offensive system.. Dang, I surely hope that Aly is fully fit and be the leader that he is especially playing alongside our new defensive line.

A fan page.. Making a fuss about a player's tweet? They should have just encourage the players. Anyway, this is just an added distraction to our players especially when we have a game ahead of us..

If it was a tweet it must be the old one. He hasn't tweeted anything like that today. crossing fingers... Tweet from Aly B: Game day! We gotta prove that we get even better as the comp continues.. Not even gonna let Chinese-Taipei breathe! Kickoff 7pmAnyone see the post game report? Ronnie N started talking about Stephan Schrock IN THE GAME against HK. I turned away in disgust! TJ Manotoc and the other commentators had to do damage control fast. I couldn't watch any more.

« Reply #520 Today at 2:40pm » ^ i hope Mark can play today after that issue, he is still 19 and we need him. ikanga medyo bata pa ang pag-iisip. kulaspero15: i think Macau is not really a tough opponent, they are like Timor Leste. and for Chinese Taipei, we can compare this team like Hong Kong. Xavier Chen, a defender of CT who's also playing in Belgium's 1st division team KV Mechelen is not going to play maybe because of club commitments.i expect a tough fight later but my prediction is 3-1 win for us. but we cant afford to underestimate Chinese Taipei because they gave a tough fight against the current AFF Suzuki Cup chamipon Malaysia. but they failed to advace in the 2nd roung of WCQ via 4-4 L aggregate

Kickoff 7pmSome thing positive Also, ABSCBN should show the replays of offside calls. I believe this is what coach Weiss was trying to emphasize during the post match interview.. I want to see how bad the officiating will be... Crossing fingers too!

It appears that the feed is from Taiwanese TV. Hence no control over what is replayed.

Thanks for your insights! I guess that explains the confidence level of some of their players. Read the thread that they are gonna trash us 10 goals to nil... Hahaha.. Maybe their performance against Malaysia made them a little bit confident.. I guess they were also surprised about our performance against HK.. I just can't wait for the kickoff..
