If the game will be on October 7, The team can have a couple of practice on Oct.5 & 6. Euro players should fly direct to SG after their last game. What an amazing week that will be!

Here is his post on pinoyfootball facebook yesterday:
Dan Stephen Palami october 6 now.... Yesterday at 12:24pm · Unlike · 6 people
Of course, it is the host Singapore that will decide the eventual date and they will choose the one that will benefit them the most prior to their WC qualifier game a few days later.

This is also a much better scheduling than previously. Oct 4 for the last game of the Long Teng Cup. Oct. 7 for friendly and Oct. 11 for the home game possibly against Nepal.

Well, a day or day and a half practice time, not to mention adjustment to their body clocks would do wonders for our Euro players. I'm quite giddy with anticipation and hopeful we do well in these friendly games!
Addendum:
DPalami tweet: ...on the 9th or 11th against Nepal. Still coordinating...
So Pakistan is out and Nepal is in if both countries can agree on date! Wow excellent! Pretty much our friendlies are: Hong Kong Taiwan Macau Singapore Nepal(when confirmed)
Good teams to gain FIFA points or experience for the U23ers.
No offense to Macau, but we should play our full U23 in that game and still have a good chance of winning. I wish de Jong would come down, with his experience with the senior team, he'd be a great steadying force for the younger players who've never been in an international(my comment specific to the Macau game and full U23 participation).

seems like they want to maximize the FIFA window... as much as possible keeping the senior team playing together in preparation for next year's AFC challenge cup.

With a full, first-choice squad we should on paper. But the Lions have been playing together more than the Azkals. That's a huge plus on their side.

RT @dscpalami the october 7 match with Singapore will be in Jalan Besar Stadium and kick off at 7 30pm its a small venue for the game, 3k capacity. I wonder how come they can use that venue for World Cup venues. I bet a lot of our pinoy expats there are would fill up the venue to the brim hehehe.

Will we win with a full strength squad against Singapore? IMHO, if all our "star" players play in this game, our probability of winning is over 75%. My reason being is that we've found high caliber players in nearly all the positions. In other words, our full strength squad is better than the team we fielded last year that tied Singapore. However, we cannot ignore all the factors associated with traveling since most of our star players will be flying from Europe. On another note, does anyone know how the FIFA rankings work? When we beat Singapore in their home turf, how many points will we get and how much will this affect our ranking?

The Lions' familiarity with each other will be their main advantage. However, let's consider the fact that they had this same big advantage when we tied them last season too.
