Just a reminder, there have been reports that this game will NOT be shown live. Just want to make sure that you remind ABSCBN of their FULL (and not half-hearted) commitment to the sport.

We should tweet ABS-CBN. Sana marami mag-tweet sa kanila para may pressure to air it live. Siguro may conflict ulit sa schedule with other programs with earlier contracts pero sana maghanap pa rin sila ng paraan.
Maisip ko lang mag-tweet brigade that we need to see the Singapore friendly live. With players like Cagara, Lucena, Mulders, Shroecky, etc... highly-rated players coming in to play for the Philippines, everyone should be able to watch it live. Its not everyday we get to see this.
Let's tweet ALL of them: @abscbn @abscbnnewsports @abscbnsports @s23channel @vincerodriguez @dyancastillejo @tjmanotoc.

At the very least, we are entitled to an explanation why ABSCBN wont be showing the game live. So why ABSCBN?

Well that's good news for the Azkals. They now have the support and given the exposure to hone their game and hopefully will bring further cohesiveness to the team.
I work here in singapore but too bad i'll be in the Phil on that date. Few years back the media here considers the Philippine football team as minnows that doesn't deserve a second look. A team that will give them an automatic points should both team play each other. But now they already take us seriously and considers us as a threat. Only shows that we have improve tremendously.
Keep up the good work AZKALS!!!

Azkals-Lions face-off on Oct 7 in Singapore Team Azkals team manager Dan Palami shares in an exclusive Pinoy Star interview what makes this much-anticipated international friendly “a game you wouldn’t want to miss” and unveils a powerhouse team that guarantees the Filipino-Singaporean crowd more than a thrilling match. bit.ly/azkalions

Today is the first day of selling of tickets and i can see a lot of Pinoys queuing up the ticket booth It seems like they only sell the Grandstand tickets for Pinoy fans. I'm excited to watch the Azkals Dream Team match!

Don't worry fadski, they will probably just appear like Jason de Jong a few days ago for the LTC. Ray Jonssons season just finished too so he probably will show up. BTW, I read a post in this site saying Ray Jonsson will sit out a game if Cagara comes down. FYI to those who don't know, Ray is a midfielder in Iceland and has been playing as such this recently concluded season. He is more versatile than most people would think.

Comments on another forum:
I didn´t get the tickets myself but from what I´ve been told there were two Singaporeans lining up at their counter while the time for lining up for tickets at the Philippines counter was over half an hour, not even an hour after the sale started (80% of them female )! Tickets individuals (at least at the Philippines counter) could buy was limited to 4 per person, by the way.
Also, I heard that the Grandstand was already sold out later today (unconfirmed) and an acquaintance who tried to get tickets in the evening couldn´t get any anymore. Looks like it´s (gonna be?) sold out and I wouldn´t be surprised if 3/4 of the stadium would be filled with Azkals supporters! Don´t know how many tickets go straight to LATW and other Singapore supporters clubs though...

That's okay , If your a PR just tell the ticket guy that your a Pinoy team fan and you can get a grandstand ticket. Purchase ticket at the South Gate. But what i heard from a friend here that Grandstand tickets are already sold out today (first day) . Good thing i was able to get two tickets during my lunch for me and my friend. I think they organize it in a way that Pinoy fans will enter the south gate and for Lions fans the opposite gate.
