pero may nabasa ako sa ibang forum na sabi ni weiss dun sa interview ni ronnie na wala daw yung 2 yellow card rule pag qualifiers Sinabi nya yun but he is not sure about that. At this point wala pa daw siya idea regarding Ali and Schrocky's suspension. Good thing though, against Kuwait coach Weiss said na Ray Jonsson and Jerry Lucena will be back. So there will be more options for the Azkals.

How about Lucena playing as Central Defender? Would that work? I've heard in the past that he has games wherein he played as Central Defender. We can have Ott still in the lineup as DM paired up with Mulders. RB will be Schrock. LB will be Jonnson. Same wings and Forwards.

That was surreal. If that was a friendly, what more for a real game? Long before it was certain we were going to play Kuwait I was thinking about the situation of our OFWs in Kuwait. We hear about that occasional abuse and beating. In soccer games we hear about that occasional fan violence. We're going into this series of games with the potential of mixing the two and I'll just say it frankly -- I'm afraid that if the PHL does well or even beats Kuwait, that there will be a few fans taking it out on the domestic worker, the babysitter, the construction worker. Something has to be done about this right now and I hope nothing less than the President's office will work on whatever diplomacy is required to ensure that nothing of the sort ever happens. This is very close to the heart of everyone, especially the foreign-grown players whose parents were probably OFW and which is how they got to be half-Pinoys. A quick google search of the terms filipino OFW Kuwait will give you a flavor of what's going on there. It also looks like that the PHL government has been repatriating OFWs who have been overstaying, whose visas have expired. Maybe this is already part of the planning in anticipation of these games. If the government saw that many months ago, then someone was doing a good job (or is it just coincidence?). www.gmanews.tv/story/204217/pinoy-abroad/another-filipina-worker-killed-in-kuwait

Not to be racists, but middle eastern teams tend to do dirty football.

I'm getting mixed news reports on Schrock and Borromeo's status for the first leg against Kuwait. I guess we'll have to wait and see what the real deal is.
Kuwait sure is intimidating. Are the Azkals still going to have a training camp in Bahrain?

Let Nigel De Jong be our fitness instructor and he will teach the Azkals how to counter his version. If we counter De Jong's style of breaking legs we can sure beat the crap out of Kuwait. XD
naaaah, Just wishful thinking. Injuries might be a commonplace tho.

That's I'm afraid of if we beat Kuwait, sure na magkagulo na. For them I think, losing a from a qualifier is a slap on their faces from their King.

Guys let's set aside racist ranting and "OFW Drama" speculations here. Let's focus on the more beneficial and productive discussions/discourses afterall, Kuwait will be the most difficult adversary the Azkal will face yet.
[Back to topic]
First things first: Yellow cards. Does it reset every round or not? If not, who will Schrocks and Borromeo's position?
Some guys here already upload a video of Kuwait-Australia match so we at least have a gauge of what to expect from Kuwait *gulp*. Which leads to my second question, do we stand a chance? If so, what strenghts do we have and what weakness do you think they have that the Azkals can capitalize? So far, the only "strength" the Azkals have at this point is....err... Kuwait doesn't know us yet.

lols ofw drama is no drama. talagang nangyayari yan. wag mo bastusin ang kapwa mong pinoy na nagpapakita lang ng concern sa mga kapwa nating pinoy.
bastusan ba? eh di ikaw maghanap ng video nung kwt-au match. ano ba silbi ng internet mo. ka demanding mo ha, somebody here upload the video already ha.
nasobrahan ka ata sa pagka baliw sa futbol not to recognize the plight of our abused ofws which you called ofw drama with matching double quotes are way more important yhan football. now i get that this is a futbol forum but the least you could have done was to insult the person who just showed concern. the least you could have done was not include in your post that ofw drama. malasakit sa kapwa nating mga kababayan na nagsasakripisyo sa ibang bansa. kung di dahil sa mga dollar remittances nila eh matagal na sanang bagsak tong ekonomiya natin. kaya wag yung puro football lang nasa isip mo.
