All right, let's get back on topic. I'm quite pleased to learn Schrock and Aly can play. We need every weapon we have. But doesn't Stephan have club commitments? I read a lot of our stars won't be able to join the team in camp in Bahrain. Hmm? From what i believe Fifa has a rule that if its for an international competition like WC qualifiers, players must be allowed to play for there country.

I believe they can play as long as their club has lots of reserves, they are aware of FIFA rules.

Mandatory release for national team duty is only for FIFA calendar matches. It has been mentioned on these boards before that the 1st and 2nd AFC WC qualifying round matches are not in the FIFA calendar.
In that case, we will have to rely on the goodwill of the clubs in allowing their players to play.

and then the chosen one went nuts. the red card on pepe changed that game. it was that game right? yup. that's the game. Madrid was really outclassed by Barca. No need to argue on that we all see the game. The formation itself tells Barca is better than Madrid. Nuf said.

I think i've read sometime ago that they won't be available for the training camp but can still make it to the game...I just hope they can...this is a very important game for us and we need all the best players that we have

Now we need to gather all the good boys we have like Jonson, Lucena and Cagara to keep our hopes high. I mean we already are the underdog and the new comer of this level and we're gonna play it without some of our key players. That is so not the kind of situation the country wants. Let us hope for the best though.
