I agree we have to ditch Chieffy vs Kuwait depite his consistence performance thus far. Here's my formation. Etheridge Schrock Gier Borromeo Jonnson Lucena Mulders Ott JYH Angel PYH My only problem is that Angel looks very awkward using his left. Very nice formation for Kuwait! ;D just little twicking by interchanging Ott with Lucena. I observe Ott and Schrock communicates well. And Lucena and Jonsson already have partnership with the recent Bangladesh game. But if Cagara would play, I'll try this formation: --------------Etheridge---------- Schrock----Gier-----Borromeo-----Cagara -----Lucena------Mulders-------Jonsson ----------JYH----------------Aldeguer ----------------PYH------------ Subs: Ott, Caligdong, Bahadoran, Sacapano

Kuwait will be tough. They also have imports, I think they have. And they are very physical. Japan and australia there lead is just 1 goal against kuwait. I think we need to play the old Azkals way, defend, allot of defending, park the bus or shell formation defensive formation like what did in Suzuki cup against quality attack of Kuwait. We only need a draw, possibly 0-0 in kuwait home field. Or if we are lucky, get one goal. Then hope for the best in our homefield. We must not lose big or at worse just lose 1-0. Scrocky and Boromeo will surely be miss, but they will be back next leg.
I hope Cris Greatwitch the hero of Suzuki cup, will be available, along with Lucena and Cagara or maybe add Hartman. Let us pray for our team to do there best against powerhouse Kuwait. Im sure we will have allot of Pinoys support in Kuwait. I think for necessity kahit me samaan ng luob si Wise and Djong, we need Djong for defense lalo na wala si Stephan and ali sa 1st leg.
Basta our only chance is 5 4 1 formation park the bus or shell formation what ever they call it , lahat sa baba mag sumiksik tapus counter attack. Sa second leg tayu attack ng todo let just go for one goal and tons of defense. For soccer purist it make look bad but what is important is results. Let is make the story of 300 in Greece as inspiration. And remember David defeated Goliath.
I hope and pray kahit group stage lang makapasuk tayu. Malaking achievement na yun. Win or lose just perform 100% for our country. God bless sa Pilipinas.

wag ka na. if naisip mo lang kalagayan ng mga kawawa nating ofw you could have chosen to not include it. but instead you have to use ofw drama as your choice of words then capitalizing it and enclose it on double quotes just shows how insensitive you are to the plight of our kababayans. I'm sure our OFW's in Kuwait are happy for the Azkals winning and will definitely support them there in Kuwait.... without them fearing for any reprecussions from their Kuwaiti employers. I'm sure your malicious hatemongering won't affect them. Teka, OFW ka rin ba? Ako oo. I remit money to help our country. I endure hardship, homesickness, and culture indifferences. Alam ko ang hirap ng OFW kasi isa rin akong OFW. Eh ikaw? ano ba nagawa mong mabuti at kapaki-pakinabang sa Pinas ha? This is my last reply to you since I hate bitching with people in forums since it'll just waste server bandwidth and will just deteriorate the quality of this thread. I recommend you just start your own thread about the plight of OFWs. Or since you fancy attacking me personally, you can start own thread title "The Insenstive and Evil Slayermoonlight Hate thread". Either which, I don't frakking care nor give a damn sh!t. your way off-topic here. Don't hijack this thread with all those bleeding-heart effect you have. you have a point there

Weiss looks like he's going for energy conservation due to the climate there, which will be the focus of the Bahrain camp. So that may mean they won't be going for an attacking strategy. Still hoping Schrock and Borromeo can play.

anti football baby. that bummer tactic I wish should do the trick. Calisto was pissed when the team did that to Vietnam. Hope they can also do some guerilla tactics.

For this game i would rather put the best defensive player as defenders Maybe a backline of Lucena-Gier-Borromeo (if he plays)-Jonson
Nd maybe use JY-Schrock(if he plays)-Ott-Mulders Eventhough Chieffy was good at the Sri Lanka games, we would really benefit if we use Mulders instead of him.
For the forwards, we should not sacrifice Aldeguer and PY, because its only the first leg, nd the kuwaitis will surely try to injure them.

The team has still a lot of projection.
Schrock and Ott have really good quality. Even Phil Younghusband is still developing as a striker.
We can still release more of our potential as a team.

Let us hope Shrocky and Aly can play.. That will really be a tough match for the country against a well established football team - not to mention the physicality of Kuwait's game.
Players on our side are overlapping, just hope that coach will make up a good team formation and right set of players for the right set of opponents. He's experiments should work to be able to beat Kuwait.
We need 800% more ball control than what we showed against Sri Lanka, since the next opponents are really good at that. Still no matter what #webelieve

Update from Twitter @cedelfpt:
"Schrock and Aly are eligible for first leg vs Kuwait. Cathy Rivilla, an AFC match com, said yellow cards aren't carried over to next round"
Good times!

Kuwait will definitely be tough. They've got a crazy good striker in Bader-Al Mutawa. Their left winger Walid Ali, & leftback Musaed Nada are also very good, so their attacks would probably come from that side. They also have some really good free kick specialists on their team so we must avoid committing silly fouls in dangerous areas.

we need to have a great wall of defense, their pin point passing is extremely dangerous, i'll say go for 4-4-1-1, in that way we have an attacking midfielder that will help PYH in the forward position, the rest focus on defense especially the back court.

no im not an ofw. ofw ka rin pala tapos you of all people could see or hear first hand what your kababayans like the dh there go through tapos ganyan ka ka insensitive. typical ofw na pag nakalabas then nagremit eh feeling malaki tulong na sa bansa which in fact it is BUT ONLY COLLECTIVELY AS A WHOLE. we here in pinas know na di naman para sa bayan yang paninilbihan niyo sa mga arabo dyan eh,na ang nireremit niyo ay para sa bayan kundi para sa sariling pamilya. ako ano nagawa ko para sa bayan ko? marami tatang.at my young age i am managing a small business which currently has 130+ workers,i donate monthly sa parish at sa bantay bata, pay taxes, own hectares of ricefield.yan ang nagawa ko PARA SA BAYAN KO. MARAMING TAO NAKIKINABANG DI LANG SARILING PAMILYA. kaya manahimik ka na lang kasi ofw ka rin pala pero its embarassing to know that you showed insensitivity to the plight of our dh with your choice of words. there was no hatemongering mahina lang kokote mo umintindi, that poster just showed the possibility na baka sa dh nila ipasa ang frustration if ever. if they can do anything to the dh without any reason, how much more if they possibly lose they would make it a reason to justify beating their dh. yun lang naman punto ng poster na yun, he just showed concern. and here comes an OFW din, parading insensitivity with spare us the "OFW DRAMA".kahit sinong tao makabasa sa sagot mo sa kanya eh makikita rin ang pagkawalanghiya mo. speaking of drama, ikaw pala madrama eh "I endure hardship, homesickness, and culture indifferences." btw i called you tatang kasi nagpapahalata ka lang sa edad mo sa post sa ibang thread.DECS you say?rofl lmao. Wala na PONG DECS ngayon, DEPED na lang. btw baka with your age your memory is failing you, hindi ako nag introduce ng ofw sa thread na to.it was another poster and i read your response to his.nakakahiya. insensitive when in fact ofw ka rin pala.

All right, let's get back on topic.
I'm quite pleased to learn Schrock and Aly can play. We need every weapon we have. But doesn't Stephan have club commitments? I read a lot of our stars won't be able to join the team in camp in Bahrain.
