BTW, I asked Bob Guerrero about who assisted on Juani's, goal. It took a day but James Yh responded to us that it was his brother who was the assist man for that 4th and last goal. I am really just getting on the Phil Yh bandwagon, that was a sublime pass! He IS the Azkal's MVP this tourney I think.

You know Wiking, I was thinking, if Phil was a marked man even at the start of the Tournament, How come he was able to get that much goals? Does it mean he is that good that he can elude 2or more defenders around him? I think Phil should always be in love... Lol

Lol Its probably a combination of being in his peak, the coach's game plan, the opponents plan to defend against him, and being inspired(?). Yup in Suzuki Cup he should be in love with a new girl. Just kidding

Just kidding I also think playing regular football in the UFL helped him regain the form he had when he 1st came to the country... I think he and his brother stopped playing football for some time and went into showbiz...

That was an excellent give and go move from the 3 (Juani, JYH and Phil). Juani was able to cut in because once the ball reached Phil 3 defenders went to him leaving Juani open. I have to agree on you that Phil was the Azkals MVP for that tourney. UFL and their friendlies really gave Phil his match fitness. Hope he continues his fine form until the Long Teng Cup and the Suzuki Cup.
