By the way, which team is Better? Tajikistan or Turkmenistan? We lost to TKM last 2009 5-0 even though Etheridge was already our GK but years passed hope this will reversed ;D How is the strength of TKM? anyone knows? Is this beatable? I HOPE SO By the way, this is our cautioned players 1 Yellow Cards - Neil Etheridge
- Lexton Moy
- Paul Mulders
- Jason Sabio
- Juan Luis Aldeguer Guirado
- Ray Jonsson
2 Yellow Cards (Accumulated from past games) - James Younghusband
- Angel Guirado
Red Card (Automatic suspended for next game) The two are suspended for the TKM game. Most of our Starting 11 has a yellow card now. They should play with extra care to keep smooth flow of the game without having cards. If the players with 1 yellow card gets one more. We're doomed, in case we win, we'll be having hard time in winning in the finals, in case we lose to TKM (I hope this will not happen) we'll have difficulty in getting 3rd place. I hope our subs are deep pool in performance Wag na ung tulad ng dati

I'll start: I cant believe I'm saying this but with the suspension, we're a bit short on good mids not to mention forwards. Here's my take. Depending on Chieffys health I think Misagh will be either on L or R side. JdJ and Moy need to replicate what Juani and Mulders have done here. Paul needs to step up big time, its his turn to shine! Again, we need to be solid on defense and work from there. Tell us your thoughts...

i don't like chieffy to start next game, you will see the fluidity of the team when cheffy is not around. when misagh subbed in for chieffy, misagh creates more chances. same as angeles. i know chieffy is not yet 100%. but when he is fit, you will see his quality

we were beaten by India and Tajikistan before, but we won this time around. so im very optimistic against Turkmenistan. but im worried about the suspension of James and Angel, its a big loss for us. i hope the other players will step-up. i don't think we will use 2 or more sub against Tajikistan

I think the key is for our holding mids to perform and for JdJ NOT to get a RED.

I think the key is for our holding mids to perform and for JdJ NOT to get a RED. LOL! I have to agree, JDJ is a red card waiting to happen. True that strikerbon! I also noticed chieffy is noneffective during the recent games, he was 1 step back on every play and a lil lost. I dont think he is 100% ready yet. I also believe Misagh should start and put the energy from the start. It was our hard pressing that won us the game, with the Guirado's, Mulder and JYH perseverance of getting the ball. So we need to continue this and fill in the energy lost without JYH and Guirado. My first 11 would be (4-2-3-1) -------------Etheridge----------- Carli------Gier----------Sabio----Rey ---------Moy---------Mulders --- ?-------Angeles-------Misagh ----------------PYH I'm not sure who to place on the right... anyone in our line-up who plays right wing? or a 2nd striker, I dont think Ian tracks back for defense, we needed someone who could be creative and have the lungs to track back to cover wingbacks.

For me I'd like to have the same back four and Juani as DM. I'll have JDJ as the other DM with Mulders as RM (Remember his run against India and his attempt last night during injury time?). I think Mulders will have the same impact at RM like Angel when he's a LM. I like Angeles at CM as I think he can be more creative here, with De Jong in the starting line-up, we can have more emphasis on defense in the 1st half. I'll replace JDJ in the 2nd half with Moy and place him beside Marwin and shift the formation with Juani as the lone DM. I'll have Misagh replace Chieffy to create more chances at LM (I'm assuming that by the 2nd half, the focus of defense will be on Mulders so this will open up some space for Misagh.).

royg, how about putting Mulders in the right wing? ala David Silva. hehe. and Moy and De Jong in DM Mulders is the nucleus of our Midfield, sya yung nagdictate ng phase ng game natin, We need his composure and experience in the middle kaya I wont risk putting him somewhere else. Kapag wala sya sa midfiled baka mag-panic yung mga players natin during pressure. David Silva plays the same role, roaming midfielder and he dictates the ball, you usually see him behind the strikers. We need someone that knows when to be aggressive and when to slow down and I believe Mulders have the football intellect to command it.

* Agree Mulders need to make an impact, better leave him where he is most familiar
LoL I was just looking at my lineup and I didn't have Juani on there, my bad.
Moy(or JdJ) and Juani on DM for me.
Someone asked: Yes Misagh has played RM for the Azkals during the ICanServe Tourney but was quite ineffective. I think he has improved since then.
I agree Chieffy is not himself, but Id rather have him there(LW) and then subbed for Misagh.
I've been thinking of this: Too bad Anton del Ro wasn't in the roster, we could have him at RB and de Murga moved to RW. It might work. For now we have little choice but to ride into battle with our subs. Hopefully the coach and team emphasize defense, its what has brought us this far. Basic basic basic.

Is J. Guirado suspended or not? why break the Juani/Mulders duo in the mid if neither one of them is suspended?...
My new Starting 11:
----------Etheridge
De Murga-- Gier-- Sabio--- Jonsson
----------Juani-----Mulders
Bahadoran-----------------Chieffy

Wiking, actually you have Juani on centerback. But is he suspended or not? If Juani will be playing he will be still my DM and partnered with Mulders. Then Angeles as CAM, Misagh as LW and Chieffy as RW. Cheiffy can play as a 2nd striker coming from the right and Misagh as a LW crosser.
If Schrocky was here he could be our RW or RB. Nonetheless this squad could still win it but the goal chances will be greatly lessened, we need Phil to be clinical on his finishing.
