it's really hard to predict. Vietnam beat the defending champion Malaysia in their friendlies for the second time around. (2-nil and 1-nil) but they were disappointing in their last outing during the VFF cup

ASC2012: No Reward Offer, No Target for VietnamNovember 14, 2012 HANOI (14 Nov 2012) – Unlike previous practices, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) have now decided not to offer cash incentives or set target for the national team’s mission at the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012. Vietnam – the winner of the regional championship in 2008 – will open their campaign this year in Group A in Bangkok where they will be against hosts Thailand, the Philippines and Myanmar. But Nguyen Trong Hy, the president of the VFF said this week, the federation has decided to stop with the offer of rewards. “Playing for the national team is the responsibility and honour of every player. There will have bonus but we will not promise to give bonus for the national team at the upcoming AFF Cup 2012,” said Trong Hy. “We will take care of all the needs of the national team carefully, in terms of accommodations and food. “There will also be no specific target for the team. The objective of the team at the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012 is to finish as high as possible.” The VFF had always offered reward previously before major tournaments where at the 26th SEA Games, the bonus offered to the team was close to USD 1 million. www.aseanfootball.org/?p=10637

Vietnam played against V-League side Khatoco Khan Hoa and the result is 1-1 draw. Vietnam could not get past V-League side Khatoco Khan Hoa.
At the Nha Trang Stadium, Le Cong Vinh gave Vietnam the lead on 26 minute before Le Van Tan scored the equaliser for Khatoco Than Hoa in the 48th minute. www.aseanfootball.org/?p=10689

For this game, we should win this or else, our quest is over. My line-up is same with THA game but Reichelt and Christaens should replace Caligdong and Jonsson.
What's yours? We really need to win our next two games including this.

strikerbon, THA is a better team as they are prepared well despite lack of international games this 2012 and they're playing strong countries in past in which sometimes they win. THA is hungry to get their 4th Suzuki Cup trophy. Vietnam is a good team too as they beat strong teams too like Qatar last year and recently Mozambique
Weiss will not be there on Tue. I hope PHI will get motivated to win their 2nd game.

My first XI for the Vietnam match would be the same as the one I suggested for the Thai match: Same as before. I knew Jonsson & Caligdong would be liabilities in defense, that's why I didn't include them in the starting XI, and I was proven right. Substitutes: Marwin Angeles, Jeffrey Christiaens, Carli de Murga. They would replace anyone who would be underperforming in the starting XI.

With how they played against Myanmar, i expect and im confident we will whip Vietnam come tuesday.
boys will bounce back and we will see a big difference in their second match.
I expect 6 points and we will move to semifinals.
