@mater thanks mate, people here are suggesting possible names for a new coach (and i got that loud and clear).. but i got confused is that, are these "possible coaches" had given intentions to coach us? do they know that our current coach might as well leave us any moment?
or we can just suggest any names regardless of the budget, availability, etc etc..?
if thats the case, then i suggest we hire man city or maybe barca's coaches to teach us a new system, tika taka etc etc....
just my own understanding..

@ 3stars1sun - again you are forgetting the one keyword: POSSIBLE. There's nothing to be confused about that. You need to consider several things like money, availability of the person, current state of Philippine football, etc.
Just to play along, lets say PFF got millions dollar moolahs to spend to hire a new coach, you cannot hire a topdog coach whose currently in-contract. And yes, you need to consider whether Pep Guardiola will actually coach for a country with low football IQ, almost zero football infrastructure, no professional football league, and with majority of the people still don't know a hell about football. You also need to consider the general psyche of the people of that country. Filipinos got this sh!tty mentality of abusive self-entitlement; expecting everything can be acquired for free yet expecting alot as if he paid bigtime for it. Most of us Filipinos are just willing to allot a jeepney budget yet were expecting for a Ferrari. Just look at the majority of the Masang Pilipino: almost all don't pay taxes yet they demand too much as if they it's their frigging right be fed, clothed, housed, schooled by the government while all they do is laze around and breed like rabbits.
I apologize if I strayed a bit off with the analogies I made. But yeah.. i think this all relate in the current state of Philippine football. Make no mistake, Philippine football used to be in the abyss, so its only direction is to go up. And yes, the Azkals are indeed improving compare to decade ago. But still, don't expect to much radical and grand change if PFF and ultimately us Filipinos wont address the need for cultural change/improvement.
BTT - possible coaches

slayermoonlight thanx. i can see the picture now.. i think zico (as what cjeagle suggested) is the best candidate.. brazilian + football = AFF 2014 championship if u want to be the best, hire the best coach.. play against one of the best top rank teams (hungary) for rob gier, i just want to see him on the pitch rather than with a strategy board

hire the best coach, have the best football system, have the best grassroot program, have the best football infrastructure, and cap the best players for their respective position.
