Hey, just some 15 year old here. I've been playing for a year and have had lessons for 3 months now. Kaso lang, gusto ko magtanong: Kaya ko pa ba maging propesyunal sa edad kong ito? I think I have okay skills, but I'm a bit behind the varsity players my age. I know other players have been playing even before they were 10, eh ako 14 nagsimula, parang sa tingin ko hindi ko kaya makahabol eh. Do you think I can still get the skills to go pro?

Sa tingin ko, because you are only into the sport for more or less a year, and you're just 15, surely hindi ka pa bagay to go pro agad-agad, kahit semi-pro. I suppose you are still in school so you start with youth or amateur levels first, maybe in your local area kung meron, or join the youth team of a pro or semi-pro club kung afford mo. Once if you're able to carry on with both school and football and you've have gained skills along the way, you may try a semi-pro side when you reach around the legal age of 18, so pwede ka nang ma-sign ng club na papasukan mo if they accept you in their squad.

Bro, advice lang is priority...
If you're talented you can go pro, but don't expect it agad na @15 you're already signing pro forms - this isn't England LOL
Palakas ka muna physically, absorb all you can skills & tactics-wise and discipline lang sa lifestyle para maabot mo dream mo...
BTW what position do you play?

I think I worded my question wrongly. It's more of something like: having started only around this age (15), will I be able to be good enough by the time I'm an adult to go pro?

That depends on your work ethic na bro - lots of players became elite because of hard work, even at a late age. IIRC ganyan situation ni Steve Bruce(Hull's manager now) - he only caught on @ 17 sa academy ng Gillingham.
