Lucky to get a draw against the Afghans. Badly missed the presence of Phil Y. Balut simply overpowered and overtowered by Afghan defense. Cagara couldve provided the hustle and intimidation in defense. What happended to Mulders? With the exception of Lucena, I believe all players fielded tonight had played under Dooley before.. so perhaps familiarity with the system was a factor why those two DNP. just a hunch...

The important thing is for them to get to the semis. Palestine and Kyrgyztan are both equally strong so it doesn't matter who we end up playing with.

I believe Lucena was in Cebu vs MAS. Anyone confirm?

It looks like both these teams will be highly motivated to score as many goals as possible against Laos, as it might end up going to goal difference for the right to make the semis.

With the draw, the tournament gets interesting. lalo ako kinakabahan! Even if we win on Thursday's game we are still not assured of semis, we must score goals as much as we can against Laos.

I am disappointed with the result... We got chances in the last 20 minutes, but on the hindsight this is football... Glories and sorrows comes with it...

if Misagh is Palami's fave, Doctora is turning out to be Dooley's.. ;P kidding aside, i think Doctora is impressive when he gives his all despite taller & bigger defenders.

Used substitutes, De Jong, Porteria and Daniels. . I think Dooley is prioritising these players as they are with the team since day 1 of his tenure... Just wondering What would Cagara and Mulders felt after being left out, they too have sacrificed a lot for the sake of serving national duty there in Maldives... Just wondering how would Palami felt when Dooley preferred Sato and Doctora over players whose release from their respective Euro clubs was done in painstaking manner.. I've gathered Palami went heavens and earths in convincing Euro clubs. ..

But again, Dooley is the coach. It's his job to select whom to start and players that he will utilise. It's not Palami's job... Undermining one's decisions will only make things worst...

If he ask you to drive the bus to get to the stadium then you drive the bus to the stadium.

It's a long tournament, with very short intervals between games, so maybe Dooley is just rotating his players. Besides even during the last Challenge Cup, we usually start slow and get better as tournament goes along.
