So does this mean suspended si Rota sa finals ? accumulated yellow cards ? I believe not. Cards are accumulated every stage and wiped off on the next, and the semis is not considered part of the group stages. |

Congratulations to the lads! This is what it's all about. Pulling out that win in tough, tough circumstances. Maldives were getting physical and diving knowing that the probability of calls were for them.

Runner up: PYH
One game at a time... the lads are tired, they looked spent at the end, but gotta grind out that win against Palestine, which is a better team than the Maldives. On to the next game.

I'm sure the Palestine coaching staff identified our weaknesses especially in defense. Unless coach dooley makes defensive adjustments, we may be in trouble on friday.

We got lucky a bit. We couldn't stop the surging runs of Ashfaq Ali who was creating all kind of havoc near the penalty box. Our injuries(5) have finally been taking their toll especially on defence. Palestine is going to be tough to beat but I think we can do it. One more game left!!! Ashfaq Ali raped our defense on the later stages. Thankfully our CBs managed to assert themselvea over him during the early part of the game which may have affected his confidence, but once he got going, even fair play couldn't stop him! |

Sssup lads! We are going to the finals!!
Weak spot is the defense but this should be fixed as there is a 2-day rest. Lucena is only used for 45 mins which is good. Aguinaldo is doing his best, guided well by Gier. He'll learn, but that may be costly when we lost that match.

My goodness. What an epic match! I've been following the team for a looong time, man. Never experienced drama like this. One of those matches that'll stay with me forever. But there's definite cause for concern going into the final. But I won't get into that now. For now I'm going to let my heart settle down. Goodnight, everyone! We'd get the same, if not better quality playing against our top ASEAN neighbors. I'd rather we strive for bigger and better opponents. |
