The problem i foresee that Dooley will encounter in September qualifier is how to secure clearance of overseas-based players from their clubs... If all the core players will available by then a win against the Uzbeks is possible. It's a WCQ match, so all clubs are obligated to release players for the match You are right. All WCQ matches are scheduled within FIFA international dates. So yes, all clubs are required to release players for international duty.

Highlights of DPR Korea vs. Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan was so unlucky to have those 4 scored against them in the first half. Yes, N. Korea should be given credit for converting all of those chances, but watching the highlights it's difficult not to think that there was some amount of luck involved in the opportunities. The first and fourth goals, especially, and maybe even the third goal. We can't count on having that kind of luck against Uzbekistan in the next game. They're not the highest ranked team in our group for nothing.

All WCQ matches are held during fifa international break windows. Like the friendly we have on sep 3 will be included in that window so we should have a full squad for the tune up as well.

Thank the football gods that Patigol no longer plays for Buriram or any other Thai team. Looks like his absence was really the fault of the Thai league.

Moving forward: Phil Younghusband talks about the Azkals and the World Cup QualifiersAeron Paul Valderrama tiebreakertimes.com/tbt/moving-forward-phil-younghusband-talks-azkals-world-cup-qualifiers/28688With Coach TD intending to play fast ball movement and probably continue on putting pressure when defending, I think that PYH may need to improve on his fitness. He seemed looked tired at the later part of both games and he did not put much pressure on the opponent like he did in the early part of the game. I may be wrong in my observation on him. But belonging in the group in which each team could possibly beat any other team on any given day, I think fitness could make the difference in every match in this tournament. Coach TD is showing the way. Pahabol: Just found this report from CNN Philippines: Toughest test to come for Azkals, says Phil Younghusband cnnphilippines.com/videos/2015/06/30/Toughest-test-to-come-for-Azkals-says-Phil-Younghusband.html
PYH appears in the video confirming his condition at the later stage of the match against Bahrain. I guess improved fitness would also improve his performance.

Why can't we get countries like NZ for friendlies? It is called "money". You have to be able to give a decent guarantee to a National Fed.
