Think you can handle the pressure from the North Korean crowd? Then support the Azkals in Pyongyang. How? read this: Dear Sir /Madam
It gives me great pleasure to invite fans of the Phillipines National football team to Pyongyang, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, to view the World Cup qualifying match between the two countries.
The match is taking place on Thursday 8th October and it is our pleasure to arrange individual and group tours to view the game and to spend a few days in the country to see some of the main tourist sights.
The match is taking place at the legendary Kim Il Sung stadium (capacity 50,000), in the country's capital Pyongyang. We expect an electric atmosphere among the fans, as well as a great range of entertainment displays at half time.
We can arrange tours ranging from 2 to 14 nights and from 1 to 1000 people! Our company has been in operation since 2011 and since then has grown to one of the largest and most respected travel companies specializing in DPR Korea. More information can be found on our website here:
www.juchetravelservices.com
DPR Korea is a unique tourist destination unlike anywhere else in the world. If you are interested to visit, please get in touch and we can provide more information.
Regards

North Korea on top of the group with 3 wins and 9 points after defeating Bahrain 1-0 in Bahrain. Combined with their results in the recent East Asian Cup where they defeated Japan and tied South Korea(both countries only used their local players) they are in a very good position to win Group H. The Azkals have to get a positive result against Uzbekistan in order to keep up, especially as it is going to be difficult to win in Pyongyang in their away game against North Korea in October.
In the other match Uzbekistan won over Yemen 1-0 for their first win of the tournament keeping them in 3rd place, just behind the Philippines in Group H.

UZB team were transported here by their flag carrier via a chartered direct flight from Tashkent to Manila (7 hour flight). I hope an airline based in PHI will help transport them in October games so they won't wait for connecting flights.

Maybe even get some corporate sponsors to help offset the cost of a charter flight to Pyongyang.

However, what impressed Dooley the most was the logistics of how Uzbekistan arrived on Philippine soil. Dooley stated that the higher level a team plays, the more attention to detail is afforded to. According to him, everything at this level is scientific which can be personified of how the team was flown in.
Dooley said, “They didn’t fly 28 hours like everybody else has to do. They chartered a flight and came direct over here because they know how difficult it is to be in the plane for so many hours and waiting in airports then coming over here being stressed out and tired. They don’t want to do that. They know how important this game is. They don’t wanna waste energy, any time, anything that could cost the game so that’s why they hired the plane.”

We, or should I say the PFF, is not at the level yet where a chartered flight to Uzbekistan is affordable. Remember our origins, folks. Azkals. Make do with the scraps available. And make the most of it. And win. Yes, it would be nice to have a plane all to themselves, but I hope we can show these guys what passion and determination from a lowly pedigree can do.
Go Azkals!
