But Aly was born in San Fran.... that does make him a Fil-For, right? I have an American friend born in the Philippines coz his American father is a pastor from Texas, his mom is from Thailand. When he visits the States he is not considered an American-something, just plain "American". Why do we always put a Fil-something if we have a filipino born abroad or one of their parent is foreigner? I say lets call them Filipinos.
