I hope they won't be surprised if they play Korea DPR. Don't take Uzbekistan's 1-0 win against Yemen as a gauge of performance. You woudn't know what would happen if we face the team. Now Korea DPR won against Bahrain 1 - 0 in Bahrain, don't take this as a gauge of performance. Who knows, if we face Korea DPR again, we might end up like this game. I hope it won't happen

This game shows what are our lapses that needs improvement before October games. I hope there will be more improvement in October games.

Its just our first lost, enough of the negative and just focus on the game. Dooley made a gamble on starting woodland and it paid off. Sato and Palla were excellent. Shrock is still our best player. Lucena is still effective as usual. Ingreso looks promising. Uzbekistan is just too good and the much hungier team tonight. And for those complaining on the attendance, sorry guys, this is Philippines and its not Gilas who's playing tonight!

Just curious, can we change the venue for our remaining home games? from Bocaue to Bacolod or Cebu for more attendance. I think it wouldn't happen as the venues are inspected by FIFA and AFC officials.

We seemed to be easily beaten by one player. Even in a 2v1.

7500 attendance is not too bad for a country where another sport is the national pasttime. It is a lot better compared to some other countries where they consider football as their number one sport. Here is the attendance during a typical WC qualifing day in June:
Official attendance :
Guam - India - 3277 East Timor - UAE - 200 - in Malaysia North Korea - Uzbekistan - 42000 Japan - Singapore - 57533 Bangladesh - Tajikistan - 12000 Cambodia - Afghanistan - 55000 Taiwan - Thailand - 18168 Bhutan - China - 10000 Hong Kong - Maldives - 6370 Myanmar - South Korea -1090 - In Thailand Laos - Lebanon - 2500 Malaysia - Palestine - 3000 Turkmenistan - Iran - 10000 Kyrgyzstan - Australia - 18000 Yemen - Philippines -5200 - in Qatar
Except for a few countries, we are not that far off.

Painful first loss for us. Lesson learned the hard way. Bawi na lang sa second match. It would be very difficult to win with a 4-goal difference against a team this good but we can at least close the gap.
