There's no reason for Thailand to play their key players and risk cards or injuries. Expect a weaker than usual Thai line up taking it easy. They have nothing to lose while we have everything to lose and gain. It's now or never if we wants improve that image of football in the Philippines.

Gameday it is!!! OMG!!! God knows how much I want to be there in the PSS right now. If only I am not in a delicate pregnancy ATM, I would have been cheering my heart out LIVE for our national team. I've been very excited since 2013 when it was announced that Philippines will host the 2016 Suzuki Cup. I was there in RMS for the home game against Singapore in 2012 and against Thailand in 2014. Earlier this year, I already told my husband that the birthday gift I want to receive is to watch the Suzuki Cup in PSS. He agreed then. But it's a different situation now. So, I fervently hope and pray that my support for our NT will reach PSS today. No matter what happens, my love for the NT will be alive and burning. This is the ONLY national team we have. So, let's rally behind our boys in blue. Sulong Azkals! Laban Pilipinas!!!

Early reports say Marco Casambre will start next to Amani Aguinaldo as central defenders. Christiaens likely to slide to left back.

Thailand will introduce a different but familiar squad with Chappuis, Prakit, Adul Lahsoh, and Mongkol starting--players who battled the Azkals in 2014. Only one natural forward, I think. Sarawut who scored against Singapore. Maybe to match the height of Aguinaldo.

I don't know if its just me or its coach TD likes to see Azkals fans nervous seeing the Azkals defend... its been 3 games now and its still the same..

HT 0-0
Thoughts so far... Our new centerback is looking a big nervous but he has started to calm down towards the end of the half. I hope he takes a couple of notes from Aguinaldo and how he developed into our most solid defender.
PHIL! He had a perfect chance with that header and is doing well in his deep lying playmaker position.
Minegishi has had more than a handful of good chances, he's just lacking a bit in the finishing department.
Schrock has disappointed me so far and could be doing so much better.
What does Mark Hartmann have to do to play? Now is the perfect chance for him to make himself a hero.

HT 0-0. I think they're doing well. Could be better if only they had Patino. 😥

Nope. Substituting Casambre in the midst of the game for Ingreso would be one big mistake.

So yeah...we lost. Pretty stressful week for Philippine football but we learned a lot of things in this tournament. (hopefully) The boys were under a tremendous amount of pressure to win the game. The draw against Singapore really haunted us. We were really unlucky this time around. Looking forward to the PFL.
