Seems like the PFF did not allocate an away section for away fans... A little worried that we, the home fans, might get seated next to away ultras fans...

With the Suzuki Cup not being part of FIFA international dates what are the chances of these players seeing action in the Suzuki Cup?
Daisuke Sato Neil Etheridge Iain Ramsay -- heard earlier might go back to Australia for tryouts Stephen Palla Patrick Reichelt -- Injury? Mark Hartmann -- What is up with the Guy? scoring machine in S-League can't get a crack with the current Azkals lineup Simone Rota -- Injury? Javier Patino
With the Retirement of Guirado, Lucena, Mulders and the absence of some key players(players above) our Azkals that played earlier against Bahrain might not be good enough the get past the Group stage of the Suzuki Cup 2016.
The defense without Guirado, Lucena, Sato and Rota looks really weak..

Thank you for updating me with the current situation of some of the Key Players of our Azkals.. looks like the key players for this edition of the Suzuki cup for Azkals are going to be Muller, Aguinaldo, Steuble, Woodland, Ingreso, YH Bros, Schrock, OTT Bros, Bahadoran, and Patino.. The back four will be trouble for Coach Dooley who would he pair with Amani? with Sato out who would man the left side of defense? At RB with Rota out I think Steuble or Daniels will cover... Now I get why Coach Dooley had that line up yesterday against Bahrain but I do hope Muller will start against North Korea I just think an unfit Muller is a still better than a fit Deyto..

Stephan Palla is not injured anymore and has been on bench for his club , not likely to play in AFF Suzuki Cup anyway. Javier Patino . He did not play against Kyrgyzstan and friendlies in October . Why ? His club is not playing and China playing FIFA World Cup qualifiers . Neither Mike Ott and Luke Woodland is certain to play in AFF Suzuki Cup Stephan Schröck did not play in Kyrgyzstan and did not get playing time against Bahrain. Not sure what is going on..

Well more of instinct than speculation basing on their social media posts that time both Schrock & Patino begged off from Kyrgyzstan game to spend time with family. And if you can still remember what Dooley said during his first falling out with Schrock, Neil and Cagara that he doesn't care about player's status being superstars if they cannot be disciplined nobody is assured of a place in starting 11 they will start again from the bench. So there it goes. About Palla coming from a long term injury and not yet 100% match fit he has to fight for his place again at the starting 11 especially his contract was only renewed for a year and most of it spent in recovery. He also has priorities with a family to feed.

Our October friendlies resulted in both 3-1 loss at home. Their defense needed to be beef up. Coach TD gave chance to youngsters to test their skills in quality opponents. It's just 6 weeks away before the tournament. I hope we can catch up and I hope the performance on the tournament won't imitate the performance on our friendlies this October or else our Suzuki Cup hope will fade again.
Other ASEAN matches results UAE 3 - Thailand 1 Vietnam 5 - North Korea 2 Singapore 0 - Malaysia 0 Indonesia 2 - Vietnam 2
Games Oct 11 Iraq - Thailand Malaysia - Afghanistan Hong Kong - Singapore

Based on the 2 friendlies, our Defense needs to be worked out. Bahrain plays similar to Thailand with their touch passing and look what happens. Same thing with PRK last night. They easily dictated the tempo with their passing. Woodland is not fit for CB for now. Dennis Villanueva did a great job vs Kyrgyzstan. We badly misses Sato as LB. Junior Munoz did better than Steuble. Coach TD knows what at stake so let just give him more time and patience

can we please beg for Dooley to try Aly for our next friendly? Amani's too young to be a leader. Aly's presence at the back will surely help. Woodland has been exposed a couple of times already.

During the last two games, the only problem we had was the defense. I guess that we have enough offensive power with PYH, Bahadoran, Patino, Mike Ott (if he's available), Mark Hartmann (?) and Porteria as a substitute. I don't worry much about our midfield, we have plenty of excellent players on the mid. What I am worried about is the defense as what all of you are mentioning. We've only got Amani as our natural CB. So yep, might as well try to call back aly or sabio, they can help our defense line more than the midfield players who were converted to CB position.

Suzuki cup is not the time to use Woodland as CB, he is still learning how to play that position. I agree that calling back Aly or Sabio is a good idea. They know the competition well, they've been there. We also badly misses the service of Sato plus Muller is a bit Rusty. But I prefer a rusty Muller over a match fit Deyto. Raptours is right, we have the best midfield in the ASEAN. We also have good or if not, the best striker if Patino is available. Coach Dooley must find the answer in our defense of we want to make it pass the group stage

It is amazing that people in the sidelines (us) is over analyzing, suggesting formations, players and strategies to Dooley. Let him do his thing, the reason why he's being paid the "big bucks". Coaches cannot make excuses due to injuries, player nonavailability, etc. They have to figure out what's wrong and fix it. This is the name of the game, why good coaches can also be fired. With the Azkals ranked top in Southeast Asia (Oct10'16), the pressure is ON and a BIG psychological disadvantage for the Azkals. Can Dooley deliver?

I don't know if you have been in a public forum before, but fans are supposed to speculate and analyze. That is their right. Just like you who seem to give them a lot, they are free to make suggestions here. That is why they are called armchair managers and coaches.

Okay, but I think it is counter productive. Where is the metrics to determine who's right and who's wrong. It accomplishes nothing. Might as well start or join a Philippine Fantasy Soccer website, and if you're soccer smart you could win points or even money.
I try to analyze the overall environment of a team's and nation 's soccer program, and NOT to make tactical suggestions (tactically, I am not smart enough, even after 40 yrs. of watching the game in Europe). But rather to understand where they are coming from, what they're doing and their limitations. So count me out of this discussion.

This happens all the time in football developed countries as national team and professional team coaches/managers are always being secondguessed by knowledgeable fans. That is why they don't usually stay long on the job. Besides it is a good sign of a maturing fanbase when they start making tactical suggestions. It is good practice for them.
