We've been talking about this for a long time but never came up with any conclusion, a home game is up and we seriously need to come up with a chant we can all sign in unity.
Please post your suggestions here, include lyrics and tell us the rhythm or tone to sing it.
All suggestions will be taken up and discussed.

I humbly suggest we copy the tried and tested chants of the English Premier League, and adapt it to the Azkals.

Someone suggested to use Ateneo's "Go Ateneo!" chant but with the lyrics modified.

Agree with Admin Mhean that we should come up with an Orig Pinoy Chant. Pinoy Ako of PBB is good. I humbly suggest yong mga Euro League Chants, because they are very very easy to do, kahit walang preparation and practice. With matching claps. Will elaborate tomorrow, mhean.

if you know "Seven Nation Army" by the White Stripes, that's a good chant song, just fill in the riff with the desired lyrics

I really think it's too early to make those long chants. We're just starting and the fans are in essence 'young' when it comes to chants. We can't be like Besiktas or Panathinaikos Ultras all of a sudden.
I say we stick to 3 word chants and keep it simple just to start the chanting trend. Once we figure out the basic chants, we can build from there.

Tulad ng pinost ko na sa FB: I got the lyrics from The Ateneo Cadet Corps March (Tune: United States Field Artillery March Words modified from Boston College High School March) pero pinalitan ko ng konti... anyway, suggestion lang naman diba? hehe With a shout, with a song We will help the boys along, Under banners of blue, red and white. While we do, while we dare, Proudly waving everywhere Are the banners with three stars and a sun... For it's go go... Go, Azkals go, Hearts always loyal and true With the right our trust, Strive and fight we must Under banners of blue, red and white... Under banners with three stars and a sun... cheers!

I totally agree with this. Mas ok kung popular song kasi everyone in attendance can join in. Alam na nila yung lyrics eh. "Hoy, Pinoy Ako! May agimat ang dugo ko!" can be the chant. sa Azkals FB page may nag suggest na Pinoy Ako by OnL. Ok din yon. Kasi kung mag-imbento pa ng chant, not everyone will get it and join in. The reason na yung mga chant sa EPL eh sinisigaw ng lahat ng fans eh kasi they've been doing it for decades! I don't think we have that time frame

If you want short chants in English you can use the tried and true ones like:
Lets Go Azkals Lets Go or Lets Go Philippines Lets Go
over and over again.

I suggest "Bahay Kubo" imagine 10k people singing it. It will be massive. Its not fast and the tempo goes up and down. And I dont know any pinoy that doesnt know the song. Its a simple song and you can start singing it random without practice. Once you start everybody can follow.
