watched an interview with Phil at abs... yes, they are being offered to play for an Indonesian club, but he said that he and his brother are more focused on a football clinic they built here in the country...

Really? Then the UFL may be the way to go. It's good for the league though I would have preferred them to showcase and perhaps further develop their talents elsewhere. Though I do understand their plight. They might have gotten attached to training their students and didn't want to abandon them.

i would also like to see some of our players who got their early football training here in the country to get a contract abroad(Asia). Just to measure how far we are against our neighbors.
The brothers can try the J-league Or K-league.

Them being in the J or K league would be a great dream, but it sounds like they don't want to abandon their academy. It's admirable too but that would mean they wouldn't be grasping their full potential as footballers. Possibly ever. We may gain in the future from the kiddies they're training now though.

i go for K-League, J-League, rather than A- League,. hindi ganun kalakas yung mga clubs sa A-League dahil may ini impose silang Salary Cap sa mga clubs..

"But I have no idea how to be white (or half-white). Maybe it’s all in the mind then, right Phil? Maybe I should go to England for a while and come back with an accent and pronounce labratory la-BOH-rah-tory? Do you think that’d work? Or maybe I should wear fall clothes in the tropics and start raving about the nuances of London life, like taking the Underground to Highbury Station or other similar endeavors?
Or maybe I could change my history to reflect a cosmopolitan upbringing? I can claim that my father was a plumber in Whiting and my mother was a nurse, and they fell in love and had me. And I went to public school and grew up listening to Oasis and even once saw them live at Wembley? Do you think anyone’d believe me?"

maricar: it's just one of those trying-hard-to-be-controversial places where they think flamebait is the new "sex sells". And since this is your first post, my natural paranoia (which is more often an asset) tells me that you are somehow connected to this flamebaiting site so I have taken the liberty of removing the link. man that concentrating on the younghusband football academy is BS.
ano growth nila dun as players, mapapalitan lang sila ng mapapalitan ng others in the future. ano Phil's just gonna stay here, teach kids football (nothing wrong with that, but hey), try his hand in showbiz or whatev, ligawan si Angel Locsin?
they're celebrities now yeah, but hanggang dyan lang sila at malalaos rin if the players themselves don't try to improve for themselves and the team diba?
