Nice work andsien. Very professional looking. I asked Rick Olivares and Ernie Nierras about the PFF website last December and they said exactly the same thing. They were working on it. I also suggested back then that with the Azkals current popularity, they might be able to find volunteers. They said they will look into that as well. Mr. Nierras placed an ad later on Azkals.com asking for volunteers. I don't know if anybody responded. I hope if they haven't done so yet, that they will take up your offer.

on a serious note, I have posted on other forums my interest to see just exactly what the pff has in mind for youth programs and grassroots development. it would be good if the website could also include a description of the strategic approach of the pff for rthe grassroots. here is my post from the other forum:
i believe it is admirable to identify talent at a young age and nurture them with specific goals in mind. and the plans for the little azkals seems a good one - aiming for the 2022 u23 qualifiers.
I wonder though what the specific plans are of the pff? in two years, these boys will be 15 and no longer able to play in u13 competitions. will the focus then switch to u16, leaving behind and forgetting about new u13 prospects?
what i am trying to say is that all of this, while admirable, smacks of tactical efforts without a strategic approach to youth development. what are the long term considerations? how will the pff encourage an enduring pipeline of talent, not just follow one bunch of kids? there is a great deal of money being made available by FIFA, shouldn't these be directed towards a strategic program for youth which creates an enduring process, rather than just flying a bunch of kids around to play some friendly matches?
I am not trying to be negative, but I feel there are very important questions here with the future of football at stake. I do not think it is too demanding to expect a strategic approach to youth development...

hey andsien why did you put up that picture of a bunch of guys playing rugby? hahaha...I already converted the design into HTML codes. Sir Nierras ask me for my number but he is not giving me a go signal yet. Evrything is almost done for the website. What's lacking is the content.

AT last, sign of life and progress. Happy Founders Day, andsien. (A significant weekend for all Sillimanians) Hope this will also be Founders Day for the PFF website! Here's a glimpse of the website sir. www.pff.cyfers.com/- Created less images for the design for faster loading - no flash used for image galleries - all designs are CSS created - all links are already clickable but with dummy contents users can comment news updates and pictures, im planning to use disqus for easy login. Or register user, create and account on each user. Im also planning to add games like the one on fifa.com suggestions and comments pls...thanks. i hope Mr. Nierras will approve this design. For the love of the Game!!! PILIPINAS WIN WIN WIN!!!

Wow, great work andsien!! I hope this goes through. Maybe we can have an email or tweeter campaign to get Palami's or Aranetas attention? They most certainly can afford a full time webmaster now!

once again, would be really great if there could be a section dedicated to the pff vision / strategy for their youth / grassroots efforts. we see a lot of reports about their taCTICAL efforts, and to be sure these are to be applauded. however, it would be great if these could be seen in the light of an overall plan instead of what on the surface appears to be opportunistic, tactical efforts... again not trying to be critical just keenly interested to hear what the pff has in mind.

With acknowledgement of the fact that cjeagle has been on this crusade (for lack of a better term) for about 6 months now, let me get on the soapbox about the same issue. If you go to FIFA.com and click on the Philippines, it lists the official PFF website as www.the-pff.com. I've got news for you. This domain's registration expired on 09-May-2011, and where you land when you attempt to go to this site is a crap shoot depending on your location. It's probably up for grabs now. The AFF, on the other hand, lists the PFF's website as www.philfootball.info/ As has been noted earlier in this thread, this website takes you to a Chinese (?) site. The Philippine Olympic Committee website has the PFF website as philfootball.info.ph/ Good luck on where this site takes your browser. This is nothing short of embarrassing. With the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers and the U23 games, there will be a dramatic surge in searches for Azkals or PFF websites. The PFF, I believe, is missing a golden opportunity not having its own official website. A website will not only increase goodwill, but also provide potential revenue as a portal for licensing agreements, merchandising, etc. There are millions of Filipinos worldwide who have the purchasing power who are ready, willing and able to support the PFF and the Azkals. As I noted elsewhere, my own commercial website was "made in the Philippines". The Philippines has world class web designers. Hosting is cheaper than dirt. Frankly, I don't understand what the hangup is. Money should not be an issue. Early in my career, a boss taught me to keep my mouth shut if I wasn't willing to put my money where my mouth is. Whenever I bitched and moaned over something, he made me "volunteer" to fix the problem. In that same spirit, I'm willing to donate the 1st year of domain registration and hosting just to get the ball rolling. End of rant, stepping off the soapbox now. ganda ng website ng pff. yang 1st link naging intsik na. 2nd link puro ads. yung the-pff.com puro ads na rin.
