This club is part of that rebel league? I was hoping our player would play for UFL to make that league gain prestige. But I dont blame any players who decide to go abroad, of course its club duty, I will also go for the best offer. This is good news for Ali. BTW how old is Ali?

I too wish he'd stay with UFL. I wish all our players would stay away from that rebel league but hey, money's money. We all need it.

SUFC's offer to Aly is just one of those he was talking about in a recent interview. But as he said, his heart is here in the Philippines so I'll take it from him. I just hope we won't have a change of heart anytime soon.
Aly is turning 28 in June.

An Indonesian fan in another board said that the local paper indicated that it was for $200,000/yr. I broke that news in another website after I read the fan's post.

Here you go guys is the post I read. Says US dollars. Actually some of the foreign players in Indonesia from Europe are paid close to a million dollars. Teams in Indonesias official league receive money from the government and have huge brand new stadiums that the govt. help build. They were even thinking about bidding for the World Cup. Football is big also in Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia with relatively big salaries to their players.

;Dso it's already confirmed that boromeo will play in the rebel league? would'nt he'd be affected by this , since the LPI is not sanctioned by fifa? ;D From today's dead tree edition of the Philippine Daily Inquirer (sorry, I can't find a link to their online version): "`I'm still negotiating,` said Borromeo, who currently plays for Kaya FC in the United Football League. `If the league is a go and the offer is something I can't refuse, that I'll do it for a few years.`.... "Philippine Football Federation president Mariano `Nonong` Araneta yesterday said he will ensure that the national players will be protected when they play in Indonesia. "`We want to look after the interests of our players,` said Araneta. `We know there is a problem in Indonesia. We want to make sure that our players can still play for the national team.`"
