Well according to an inquirer article, plymouth and brighton are interested with having him try out with them. that's a positive note there

I just don't want participation in this rebel league to be a hinderance from him participating in FIFA sanctioned tourneys and leagues. Would it be an issue?

even if he could no longer play for the AzKals, he should take. He has already done his share and its time for him to earn some dough. US$200,000/year is a considerable sum considering the state of football in this country. A 3 year stint should be enough and he can contribute back some of his blessings to Philippine football after...
