This is admin Andi of Azkals page. I am one of the 70% that some of you are talking about. This is what I would like all of you to realize about Kaholeros [or as this forum would address, ULTRA KAHOLEROS], it is very difficult to organize a meeting or meet up. I remember that Louie Encabo has announced before that there would be a meet up during one of the UFL games in UMAk but NO ONE has approached the BLUE HAIRED FANATIC, no one from this forum has dared to make a move-- i hate to say this pero hanggang dito lang sa forum active, dito lang bibo. Yes, Kaholeros was conceptualized here on usapangfootball but.. WHERE WERE YOU, GUYS, LAST JUNE 5? Here's my take: I suggest you all man up and come to our upcoming practice sessions and there, I dare you to voice out all your suggestions. Lahat ng sinulat nyo dito, ok? I will wait for you guys. You do not belittle the kaholeros effort just because of that UMak practice. YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THEY HAVE TO SACRIFICE [their time, money, effort] JUST TO BE THERE. Remember, it was their third time to drum together and they are still practicing their chants. Most of lady kaholeros there are my friends-- i would highly appreciate it if you could tone down your sexist comments. baka magulat kayo at mas marami pa silang alam sa UFL, pinoyfootball at football kaysa sa iba sa inyo dito. Cheers Whapak! hehe go Andi Go!!

^By the look of it, he got himself either suspended or banned. (Don't look at me, I had nothing to do with that.)

I like the idea of using water bottles. I never expected the Filipino stands to be like Europe, South Africa, or any other football-watching crowd. Part of the excitement for me of this new renaissance is that we're carving out our own identity and I'm enjoying the progression. Disagreements as to what that identity should be are sure to be there, and that's natural. And I'm super-pleased that this self-discovery is going on at all. To all Kaholeros, keep it up! You have my sincerest admiration.

Admiration is not enough caz, join the group and participate in the proceedings. ;D I'm currently not in the Philippines, good sir. And I wasn't either during the match between the Azkals and the UFL All Stars. Nevertheless, I'd love the chance to meet you all next chance I get.

Sorry, Caz. I saw your pics in Panaad and thought you were still there. I would love to join as well but I am halfway around the world away. Too bad since I have had experience joining supporter's groups here in the US.

A healthy excerciseIt is nice to see a lot of poeple reacted to this post. Debate and criticism is welcome and is a healthy exercise but we should always keep in mind that our words should not come off as either elitist, divisive, alienating and most importantly, it must not be discriminatory. Otherwise we might inadvertently discourage others from getting more interested in football. We cannot change overnightDuring the meetup and orientation given by the Blue haired fanatic last July 1, 2011 at the University of Makati, he admitted that the Philippines is new to this concept and we are still making "baby steps" until we reach where we need to be. He is determined in his drive to affect the football culture in the Philippines. He is also adamant on three things for it to succeed: unity, a large following and it has to be uniquely Filipino for the world to take notice. Beyond the Kaholeros 200The 200 person line up may have been filled up already by now but the Kaholeros are is still in need of our support. So for those who were not able to sign up the Blue-haired Fanatic has this to say: "It's all about unity and National pride. Just follow the lead of the Blue-Haired Fanatic and bring the passion in your hearts!" Mabuhay ang Azkals! Mabuhay ang Philippine Football! Attachments:
