While using creation master 11, i came upon the name of Alphonse Areola under the country name Philippines. He was rated 58 compared to neil's 48. Curiously, i searched his name in the net and this is what i found out:
Alphonse Aréola (born 27 February 1993) is a French football player of Filipino descent who currently plays as a goalkeeper for French club Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1.[1] He is a French youth international and has served as the number one goalkeeper of both the under-16 and under-17 teams. On 3 July 2009, Aréola signed his first professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain agreeing to a three-year deal until June 2012.[2] For the 2010–11 season, he was installed as the club's third goalkeeper behind starter Grégory Coupet and backup Apoula Edel.
I have been playing FIFA 11 since last year and I didn't even know that 2 Filipinos are included in the rosters. PSG of Ligue 1 did have Alphonse Areola (rated 60) and Fulham, Neil Etheridge (rated 50). Both are GK. Does this mean that Areola is better than Neil? More research brought me this:
A member of the U-14 PSG’s Team during the 2007/2008, Alfonso enjoyed a stunning season with one draw and 23 wins in the championship, a title winner of the National Cup for U-14 years, and a quarter-finalist in the Manchester United Premier Cup, the unofficial world club competition forU-15 years.
Such performances did not fail to attract the attention of Guy Ferrier, current coach of the France team of U- 16, who did not hesitate to propel Alphonse to take hold of the nº1 jersey, including during the last Euro U-17, which opened him the doors to fulfil one of his dreams: to take place on PSG’s squad, as 3’rd goal keeper. With an impressive size for his age, a very safe air game, an exceptional e focused mind, very rare at his age and feline reflexes, Alphonse Areola is indeed one of the greatest hopes of PSG and Les Bleus. We will hear more from him, probably next summer during the Toulon tournament 2011. I see a great future for this wonderkid if he keeps up this pace.

Hey guys,
Alphonse has long been under our radar and he is a very tempting prospect. The sad thing is that we face such an uphill battle if we want him to represent us. France has been grooming him to be their future #1 keeper and he is very excited about that. It makes more sense as well for him to want to play for France since he was born and raised there, plus the prospect of playing for France is such an honor as well.
Until he has been capped, Alphonse is still eligible and there is still reason to hope. The only thing is that that dream is about to cross the line of impossibility.
