Mulders the Facebook Philippine International(google translated) The career of Paul Mulders took a surprising turn last year. After his transfer to ADO Den Haag AGOVV he was suddenly International of the Philippines. A cousin of Mulders made a fan page on Facebook after he had signed with ADO. He sent the link to furthermore by the Football Association of the Philippines. "And then it suddenly went very quickly," said Mulder, who has a Filipino mother, Wednesday in Sp! Ts. "My cousin sent a link to the fanpage of the Football Association of the Philippines and before I realized I was invited to come along. While I did not even know they had a national football team. I know that basketball is very popular there, but football? No, no idea. Based on my resume and the fact that I had signed with ADO, I was selected. " "Before I had my doubts. If it's very unprofessional to had gone, I probably did not. But it was all down to the last detail. I was a driver of the union of the airport picked up at the villa where internationals who play in Europe charged. Moreover, I got in no time my Philippine passport, while that normally takes at least a month. " www.voetbalprimeur.nl/site/nieuws/204217/Mulders_door_Facebook_Filipijns_international.html

JUST MISSES RELEGATION! Paul Mulder's ADO Den Haag had a horrendous last quarter with their last five games going down in defeat. In this same time frame their opponent scored 15 points on them while they themselves only managed a poor five. The team, finished the season 15th in the 18 team Dutch premier league(Eredivisie) with perennial powerhouse, Ajax taking first. "The Hague" had an 8-8-18 record. They scored 38 goals, third lowest in the league and allowed 67, fifth worse. To make matters worse, long time defender and arguably ADO's best player, Christian Kum has left the team. PAUL MULDERS has been cut from ADO Den Haag, Indonesia a likely destination?Although it might seem like a sudden release, it has not been quite unexpected. Paul Mulders has been a long fixture in the Dutch Eerste division(2nd tier) and it has been a pleasant surprise that an older player like Paul has been called up to play in the Eredivisie against giants like Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord. While Indonesia might be a better fit culturally, I would prefer somewhere else considering the tumultuous football situation there.
Tama, kung may mag-alok galing Japan o Korea mas ok yun.

ADO finally released their 2012/13 season team pic. Paul is still in there but as far as I know he hasnt played in any preseason game as all his "pitch time" was given to the new guys. If he is in the back burner for ADO then they might be okay with releasing Paul again for the Suzuki Cup. At least he's signed until next year.

After I posted the above^^ pics and mentioned that Paul has not figured in a camp friendly yet an hour or two later he manages to get in a game as a substitute against Westlands a minor league team. ADO defeated the opponent 8-1. They also had on their new away uniform which is BLUE! Not Paul Mulders but he played in the friendly in the entire 2nd half and this is their new blue away uniform.

An interview with Paul Mulders in Dutch: www.omroepwest.nl/nieuws/paul-muldersik-ga-knokken-voor-mijn-plekTHE HAGUE - Filipino international Paul Mulders will still play the next six months for ADO Den Haag. The midfielder was hoping to leave during the transfer window, but no clubs volunteered for the 31-year-old player. "I therefore turn now purely on ADO Den Haag," he told TV West Broadcasting. "I am professional enough to turn the knob to turn and fight for my chance." Here's a provided translation from DRB300 from another forum: Q: How have you experienced these last cuple of days? A: What do you mean? Ramadan? Q: The transfer period? A: Oh the transfer period. Yeah of course you always look on your Mobile phone, but you remain having a professional attitude, train 100% and wait. Q: Did you hope for that one call that would say you can go away? A: Yes and no. If something nice comes along, of course. However then it must be something nice. Q: What would have been nice in your view? A: What would have been nice in my view? Well. In any case Asia. The people there. I am looking forward to them. Also nearby the Philippines. Q: I saw a Tweet from you coming along yesterday, that you were going to Cambodia, so I thought, he has found himself a new club. A: That is correct, but it's for an international game. Q: Is there something going on with an Asian club? A: No, there is nothing going on at the moment, otherwise I would not have been here. Q: Have you discussed the option with the club to disband the contract? A: I just maintain a professional attitude and I just remain hopeful for the future. Q: Where do you see your chances in the next 6 months? A: Well I don't know, that is for us to find out. Is a surprise. Q: Is that in the first or second team? A: By default do I maintain rhythm in the second team and I do my best. Q: Are you looking forward to the winter break? That means the transfer window will be back open. A: It is now closed and that means for me building up my fitness and who knows what can happen here on the club?
I believe Paul Mulders is wanting to play more competitive games while he's at it, so he was willing to transfer to another club, preferably some country closer to the Philippines, during the transfer window. That could be why a rumour came out early in pre-season that Mulders was "cut" from the club when it didn't. But since no-one sent him any offer, he then kept himself professional and be patient enough to stay in ADO. Let's see in a few months if things come out to ensure he can still stay competitive at club level.

I understand a little Thai but I hope tabokanon could do some help.
From what I understand in the article, Mulders has been linked to Buriram United in the Thai Premier League. He was being scouted by the club at the Rajamangala Stadium during the Suzuki Cup group stages and now being prospect to become their player during the upcoming season. But it looks like Mulders refuses to leave Ado Den Haag, as I think he wants to finish up his contract first before he decides what to do next.
If you can recall, Mulders was rumored to be released by Den Haag during the off-season, and is supposed to be heading to Indonesia, which he denied in a tweet written in broken Tagalog just after the rumor broke out. Looks like this news from Thailand sure is interesting.
