In ADO Den Haag, he doesn't have play time for this season and he's struggling to have been capped. Advantages of moving to Chiang Rai (Last season, Chiang Rai United finished 9th) - His club is near PHI, his availability is high since THA is PHI's neighbor
- He could have a huge amount of playing time there
My only concern here is that Thai Clubs won't release players if a national team game is not under FIFA match days. Correct me if I'm wrong but Thai clubs have difficulty in releasing players. But I hope it's not.

Thai clubs are even reluctant to let players be released on FIFA match days.
They been playing league matches on FIFA match days so the Thai NT could not play friendlies.

Many thai fans are complaining that ever since the inception of the thai premier league the NT has sucked bigtime because of not releasing players.. i'm assuming it'll be the same for Mulders.

So if that's the case, then it wouldn't be a great idea if Paul Mulders accept the invitation to play with a Thai Premier League club. I think it would be better if he'll have a tryout with a J-League Club. What do you think?

If I were him he should've waited for better offers. I mean don't get me wrong Thai League is a decent league. But considering his quality, background, playing experience his from "eredivisie" which belongs in an "a" class league. In my opinion if he wants to be a better player. He should go to the leagues from football powerhouses like spain, germany, and other european countries. I'm sure he would've find a better club.

Mulders is still with Den Haag, though, and they're still silent about his actual status with them. But Mulders have said that he will consume what remains of his contract before he sends out any announcement of moving. His contract does end at the end of the European season, by then the TPL will undergo their mid-season window. Let's see how it goes.

The Thai league has shown a propensity for spending lavishly on international players, perhaps it's a good move for him. Remember that Paul's coach was not really interested in him when he first came to Den Haag and this season was pretty much a forgotten member there, plus with his age lower Euro league will most likely be the only ones interested in him.
