PFF should file complaint to FIFA if they felt that the 3refs are biased in game. Together with video to prove those no calls by the referees. FIFA does not tolerate corrupt referees by game fixing. Give those referees yellow card each.

Can we at least file a complaint against the punching that Misagh got; that was so arrogant.

Reminded me of Oktovianus's punch on del Rosario during the Suzuki Cup that went unpunished.

It's true that Caligdong is ballhog. He is ballhog because not only does he dribble too much, he also doesn't like to share the ball in front of goal. So many times he could have made the extra pass, instead makes a poor decision and takes a shot. I can't blame people if they think Chieffy is a glory hunter. If It's the development of local football is what you are aiming for, then start a football team. That way you can teach young players all the basics and good habits. Don't blame fans from airing their frustrations. That will not really do anything to help the local players. And also they are all Pinoys. Not just Araneta, and Chiefy. airing frustrations to a person within a team is a personal attack......it is an 11 man team in a 90 minute game.....errors happen every play....like yesterday as what ive said if were talking about errors there where a lot of errors but no notice except for a local who played and do you think it is good in general? I dont want to argue with the authenticity of our fil-foriegn players what im referring to is the local......I am a person that dont agree for the foreign base filipinos as a legit pinoy so lets not go there.....again im referring to local..... ballhog is a person who hugs the ball.....it that what you mean how can caligdong be a ballhog if he can only dribble for short time...he is a winger, an attacking winger.winger has the right to dribble to find or look a sweet spot to pass or to strike a goal....james also do that but no one scrutinized it, shrock dribbles also from one end to other no dare to question it, christians was caught many times but few question him. sometimes you have to educate fans not just accepting there comment or they can say whatever they want...those players are also people..... I really don't understand what you are trying to say. You contradicted yourself so many times. So you are a person who doesn't believe in the legitimacy of Fil Foreigners. Wow. Can explain why you believe they are fake Filipinos?

Is there a replay available already? I wanna see the match first before commenting. And I hope those who was not able to watch the game should reserve their opinions/comments/reactions and watch the replay first. It's too irritating to see alot of people violently reacting (both here in and outside this forum) yet they haven't even knew what happened in the match.

On the plus side, I thought we were doing okay before the punch on Misagh. I'm slowly liking Christaens in the backline. He has the pace to eventually be very good at that spot. I've always thought that Laos was one of the most underrated teams in SEA. They can be dangerous but are also inconsistent. I thought they were keeping a good pace against us. It was a good match. Until of course we fell victim to bad calls and non-calls. On to the downfall, between the two teams the Azkals were the full time (and big time, in some cases) professionals. They should've acted that way and kept on playing the game. Our biggest loss is not in the final score, but on the sportsman front. agree...i was afriad when i saw etheridge charging to the frontline, even sabio when he argued the fallen player for a second time.....and thanks they were spared on the red card...they are vital to the campaign this coming cup.........lesson learn as much as possible keep the composure as low as possible if they want a rugged give them a rugged game minus heavy foul that can cause a card. atleast they learn a hard way...

Guys, we're starting to drift away from the topic and into an irrelevant argument.
Let's keep the discussion on the Laos game and not on the foreign-based Azkals.

The match is apparently removed from the list of FIFA friendlies at their website following reports that the referee is not a FIFA-sanctioned official. Will get you more details as we have it.

^ eh kaya naman pala mali-mali ang tawag eh!
Sana nga hindi siya ma-recognize as official friendly match. Sayang din kaya sa ranking points.

Stupid me, I got depressed by the loss and I watched the damn game over the same night. Lets just put it this way, or rather let me put it this way. We started off lost, confused and on the backfoot AGAIN until about the 20th minute when we started to get a hold of ourselves. At this time the size and strength of our players started to show especially concerning Mulders against the Laos mids. THIS is why in the second half they played rougher(yes even before the punch to Misagh). From there it degenerated as we all can attest too.
I DO NOT buy the argument that we were tired. Jeff Christiaens played all 90 minutes against Cambodia and Singapore and he was arguably the most active & brightest player on the pitch for the Azkals.
The reason we lost was because our offensive end was lacking in creativity and results. Ive pointed it out in my blog time and again, that " we're only as good as Phil allows us to be" and this is a perfect example of what I mean. Without the dynamic partnership of the two Younghusbands no one else could replicate a semblance of offensive order on the team.
Another reason not to buy into the "the team was fatigued(tired) arguments: Wolf and Reichelt had plenty of rest yet were non entities in the games besides a spark or two here or there.
Midfield order was also affected. One CANNOT compare Marwin(as much as I think he'll be a great one someday) to a starting Superliga player Jerry Lucena.
Neil Etheridge's decision making ability in this game was pedestrian at best, that challenge(that resulted in a second penalty goal) was arguably a bad decision.
I'm glad this match will be stricken from the FIFA roster, the ref was really making amateurish decisions and non calls.
I hope the PFF learns its lessons by trying to play FA's that are even worse of monetarily that the PFF. Sure they're good teams, but what we get is this type of nonsense: bad pitch, fake referees and even problems broadcasting games!
Anyway, sorry for the rant. On to the Peace Cup...
ADD: Props to Ian Araneta for protecting a fellow player. To those who didn't see the match, when that Lao player punched Misagh, it was first and foremost Ian who came to MB's defense. Was it right, maybe, maybe not, but I'll take a guy like that on my team anyday.
