What the hell is wrong with our off ball positioning? How many passes were intercepted by Singapore? I lost count!
And what about the fact that we don't tackle? How are we going to win balls?
At the very least, we did play fairly well in the last third. While there were clear opportunities, we should be able to at least reach this stage again and pack a punch by then. 1-0 was not a bad score line against a 3 time winner, and although it was a struggle, we had our opponents struggle as well.

heard that Singaporean fans threw a bottle to our players when they are about to get out from the stadium lol that's sucks on their part. I just hope they will face Thailand for them to taste Muay-Thai ;D

I cant sleep with this defeat. lets accept we are still a step back compared with our ASEAN neighbors in terms of playing football. But were getting there really fast. Im proud of the boys, we have tournaments coming next year, with the mckinley pitch almost done, more azkals are being based here. And hopefully gain fruit from our grassroot program. The future is bright for our team

the loss is just one of the lessons we'll learn as we move forward --- now onto improving more our attacking ability, defense is pretty much solid already.

it's a sad week for philippines' sports.. oh well, singapore did deserved to win. we only had very few chances, most of the possession was in ours during the 2nd half but no one can deliver well.. i am very much frustrated with angel, he looses possession alot and gotten over by dismay easily maybe because of the booboos from crowd.. i was hoping and praying for a hero to emerge even in the last minutes but maybe its just not our time yet... it sucks that we still have to wait for another two years to get our chance on suzuki cup, but nothing to get ashamed of for our team, this team is way better than the 2010 team.. heads up.. but i doubt that singapore can win on the finals.. thailand will definitely trash them and put their players to the ground.. i am already predicting that thailand will definitely win tomorrow against malaysia.. I agree completely! Singapore probably learned from Thailand's dangerous play against our NT so they hammered Phil with strong tackles. That would surely make an adverse impact even on the fittest player. But just in case Malaysia wins, I will cheer them in the final against Singapore.

S'pore fans made a confirmation of our rivalry with them. Malaysia should just focus with their rivalry with Indonesia and give Singapore to us from here on hehe

Until the UFL becomes a league of quality, and not a notch below the average American U-13 league, this will be a common occurrence. FIFA will never put this on the International Calendar, so we have to stop relying on foreign clubs to let our people go.
Once again, we came out flat. Our offense was putrid. The touch was bad, positioning was horrid, and there was no nose in the passing game. They were just...bad. "facepalms". And, I cannot accept the BS that we lost to a team that we beat twice in the last 6 months that this was a good result against a 3-time champion. Let me gather my thoughts on the way forward.

I see Cagara, De Murga, Christaens, Sabio, & Borromeo for now as strong options for Back 4 by next tourney. Only Cagara is not playing locally.

Our boys just seemed lost and we just couldn't break that Singaporean defense. Angel Guirado frustrated me most of all tonight. He was a black hole in possession. Did everything wrong. Bad passes, no passes, poor touches, tumbling to the ground... ugh. I would have rather put Wolf in for Angel as early as the first half. But that's sport. That's football. Our boys went down swinging, at least, fighting to the end. I suppose it's a good thing that so many of us are so disappointed by this result. Because we know we're capable of doing so much more. This is just the second chapter of this epic tale, I feel. P.S. - SHAME on the Singaporeans who threw water bottles at the losing team. You're like school in the summer: NO CLASS. If anyone argues "oh, that's part of football!" that's BS. Oh, that's part of being an @$$, fools.
