Singapore better win this tournament. Thailand may be a good team but have no respect whatsoever for their team. They are more than capable of winning without the thuggery and the gamesmanship with Malaysia, providing them with that crappy training facility. I hope Singapore beats them.

And even a farcical red card to Malaysia by the ref (Korean I think). Malaysia down to 10 for a good part of the match. The goals came after the sending off. To be fair, it was more of a boneheaded decision by the ref than anything sinister. Still, hate the conduct of the Thais in this year's tournament. Hope they lose the finals.

Nothing was stopping Thailand. What Malaysia should have done was fly in the night before and trained in Malaysia. Would not have mattered as Schaefer really had his s%^t togther.

That's the thing, Thailand didn't need to resort to the shenanigans and thuggery. I'm curious if Schaefer had anything to do with those as well.

One thing we need to learn, dirty tactics. Thailand did it to us, and we lost. SG took that page out of the Thais, did it to us, and look what happened. Our boys play European style soccer, clean, all skills, good passing, working on good build-up. Then somebody slams a knee on your back, or an elbow to your head, or chest in case of JYH, and as your concentration goes, so goes our game.

Playing clean is still better as it could make a good image to other countries. Who knows we might get the Fair Play Award again for this edition
About the coaches of the finalist: Raddy controlled SIN NT since 2003. He guided SIN to 2 AFF Cup Trophies. Schafer is an experienced coach who has a wide knowledge that lead to success of his former teams he managed. Schafer is a good coach as he is the one scouting his team's next opponent so that he can learn the tactics of the next enemy.

Philippines can't be a dirty players like those Thais yes thais are good, really a good team but.. they have a bad reputation.. Always have their starting 12 instead of starting 11. hahaha ;D ;D ;D
We can be a Diver.. We can be a physical players as well.. Those characteristics were part of the game "Football" and again I would like to give credits to Singapore vs Malaysia match during group stage that game was very very entertaining to watch "No Dirty Tactics" "No Bad Calls" "The Game Was Flawless" even the Malaysians are down in their own turf.

Disgruntled Thai fans strike back … with eggs By sports247.my THE failure of the FA of Thailand (FAT) to confirm the 50,000 capacity Rajamangala Stadium for their second leg AFF Suzuki Cup semifinal against Malaysia tonight came back to haunt them when their headquarters was pummeled with eggs by disgruntled fans yesterday. The game will be played at the much smaller 25,000-capacity Supachalasai Stadium, also the location of the FAT headquarters. Hundreds of fans had queued up for the remainder of the available tickets but due to the shortage and following confusion, many were turned away. Their disappointment soon turned into anger as many then returned afterwards to throw eggs at the glass front door of the FAT. www.sports247.my/2012/12/disgruntled-thai-fans-strike-back/
AFF apologise for shoddy treatment given to Malaysian team Posted on December 13, 2012 THE Asean Football Federation (AFF) have apologised to Malaysia for the shoddy treatment accorded to the national team. On Tuesday, the national team had to train at the water-logged Jaran Buraparat pitch ahead of their AFF Suzuki Cup semi-final, second leg match today. The goal posts were also rusty and the nets were torn. The players also had to change by the roadside as there were no toilets or changing rooms available at the training ground. Malaysian team manager Datuk Seri Subahan Kamal raised the issue at the team managers’ meeting yesterday. “The AFF apologised and promised that such incidents would not recur,” said Subahan. Meanwhile, FA of Malaysia (FAM) president Sultan Ahmad Shah has called on the players not to let the issue dampen their spirit. He said that the players should concentrate on their game and bring glory to the country. “Just concentrate on your duty for the nation. The pitch was for training … not for the real game,” he said in Kuantan yesterday. “I’m confident that we can beat Thailand and make the final. I’m also certain that the actual venue for the game – the Supachalasai Stadium – will be different. “To achieve victory, we must overcome obstacles … and the poor pitch condition is one of those obstacles. “I’m sure our boys are tough enough to face all these setbacks.” football.thestar.com.my/2012/12/13/aff-apologise-for-shoddy-treatment-given-to-national-team/

I did not state myself exactly as I wanted. I did not mean for the Azkals to become dirty players like the Thais. What I wanted to express was that we need overcome dirty tactics from other teams. It is becoming a way for them to beat us. Basically, just kick them Azkals around a bit, they will lose concentration, and eventually, the game. I do agree with dingodile5, playing clean is better.
