And, the jackass gets himself sent off. Stupid, stupid foul, Phil.
Not that it matters as Turkmenistan is not going to score nine goal in the next 4 minutes.

Let us give Roland a break. Muller has kept a clean sheet in both matches. He has proven he deserved the start. He has played consistently and has started at a high level in Germany, while unfortunately Neil Etheridge has been relegated to the sidelines. Based on current form, Roland Muller deserved the start and he has proven that it was the correct decision in this tournament. Neil will get his chance to prove himself again in the future, but he first needs to find a club where he can get consistent playing time.

@snowbadua MANILA - Star goalkeeper Neil Etheridge will not be fielded in the Azkals' last AFC Challenge cup qualifiers game Tuesday evening. In a text message sent by coach Michael Weiss to Solar Sports Desk, he said, “We will not use Etheridge, don’t anymore ask why.” The Azkals coach then declined to elaborate, but some insiders believe the 6-foot goal keeper is nursing a minor injury. Etheridge did not play against Cambodia last Sunday, which the Philippines won convincingly and in record-setting fashion, 8-nil. The toughness of the Azkals' defense, anchored by goal keeper Ronald Muller, might also be the reason why Weiss is also keeping his last game rotation intact. www.solarsportsdesk.ph/fb/fbnews/2013/03/26/azkals-etheridge-will-not-play-against-turkmenistan#.UVIqrWnCuAM.twitterLet's just hope that the coach's decision not to field Neil was reached through a consensus with the parties concerned and that Neil was informed personally rather than him learning only from the press or through SMS. Neil earned his starting GK status with the Azkals and he was with the team even from the very beginning when the Azkals were practically begging for quality Europe based players to come and play for us. I have nothing against Muller or Sacapano whom I believe are equally capable if not better but I believe that for the team's harmony, respect must be given where it is due. i agree

to be honest i was not impressed with our performance, we were just lucky for that goal and credit goes to Cagara for not giving up. Phil wasted a couple of chances, he's misfiring all throughout the game except for that lone goal he has scored. i didn't feel Patino's presence in the pitch. Angel is a bit disappointing, and Schrocky is a bit off tonight, giving the ball cheaply, perhaps because of the pitch condition but it was still a good performance. also missing Mulder's presence, it could have been better if he was there creating chances for us. Greatwich is good but he lacks good ball distribution. but no matter what the result is, i'll take it.
