What time is the replay on Balls? Agree with the sfarsky that Phil should have been substituted with OJ then maybe move Patino as the main target man. Replay of AFC Challenge Cup Qualifiers: Philippines v Turkmenistan will air on Mar 28, Thurs, 630pm on BALLS SkyCable 34/ Destiny Cable 36

Guys have you noticed Javier Patiño's work rate? I think he's got good work rate. Goes down to help on the defensive end and during attacks you can be assured he's lurking around ready to pounce.

Neil seemed to take it pretty well enough. He was even tweet casting just like the Cambodia match. Neil Etheridge is a class act Honestly I was a little worried on how Neil will take it, on not playing at all, having said what he said and putting the team before his want only made me respect him more. :-) Indeed, Neil is a true English gentleman and a maginoong Filipino! It showed that the worries of most of us are unfounded! With Neil, Roland and EdSa we can always be assured that our goal is in able hands.

Not football related, but.... Turkmenistan is the #7 least visited country in the world. From the Christian Science Monitor: Except, perhaps, in Turkmenistan (#7), where visitors who brave the onerous Soviet-esque visa application process are rewarded with sites like a 50-foot golden statue of former dictator Saparmurat Niyazov in the capital Ashgabat, which rotates throughout the day to face the sun. But the country’s most indisputably impressive site is a massive flaming crater deep in the Karakum Desert. Measuring 230 feet across and almost 70 feet deep, the so-called “Door to Hell” has been burning continuously since Soviet scientists lit it on fire in 1971. travel.yahoo.com/ideas/least-visited-countries-in-the-world-201146242.html

what was the crowd percentage during the game? 60-70 %? Not a lot, 60-70% of Rizal's capacity? Don't think so. Only the middle parts of both the grandstand and the bleachers were filled.

RMS capacity is estimated to be 12873 66%, I stand corrected. I do hope turnout improves even for not-so-major games, RMS feels great when filled!

I do hope turnout improves even for not-so-major games, RMS feels great when filled! It really depends on the pricing. I paid 500+ for the white middle bleachers but that has to be a bit steep.

What a win! I was just reading some of the earlier comments and would like to offer my own. I think we are being too critical on our teams performance. Unfortunately we played a team that overall were just as big, tall and physical as we were and besides the lower FIFA rank of Turkmenistan one can say they or rather we were playing against an equal rather than one of SEA's less accomplished sides in the like of Cambodia(even if we just managed a draw in last years none FIFA friendly). We should also take into account that this was Patigol's second game with the team only.
For a team we have never defeated before, this win and the game itself was pretty good. Phil misfired on about 4 one-on-one situations but as usual, he comes up with the game winning goal. No excuse for his double yellow except that it looked like he was trying to be "tougher" on the field, something he hasn't done on the field in previous campaigns. In the next 2 years, I think the Azkals could possibly cement itself into the 130's in the FIFA rankings.
By the way I think this was the first Azkal game were no local born or bred Filipino played. Can anyone correct me if I'm wrong?

Wiking, out of the back of my head I say Philippines vs Guam at Panaad on 12 June 2012 was the first with an all-foreign-born starting XI, but Araneta and/or Gener might have entered as a sub on that one.
