So far coach's Weiss record with the squad is W-D-D and no loss, 1-2-0 . :-/what are you talking about , it should be (w-L-D) & it's 1-1-1

Indeed it was better showing in 2nd half, Coach Weiss showed good adjustments. How I wonder how it could had been if Phil was on the striker position instead of Ian... hhhhmmmm
Well in a positive note I'd been hearing great performance made by Angel Aldeguer.

Many people forget that Coach Weiss only came here last February. Considering that he's trying to introduce a brand new style of Football to the Azkals, in such a short span of time I can say that Coach Weiss did fairly well. His tactical change in the 2nd half against Myanmar prove to be effective and the Azkals dominated in that half which proves that he knows what he's doing. Given enough time Coach Weiss will hopefully be successful and I'm sure Filipinos will be embracing his new brand of Football..

We should all give Coach Weiss a Break!! The man is working hard to improve the game of the Azkals. Remember that the Azkals are only strong on PAPER as of the moment with the addition of Guirado and Lucena. These guys still need enough time to Gel with the other players.. You can't expect the team to score 3 goals or more a game immediately . They have 2-3 new guys that we all know are good player, but they need time. I hope that they will finally settle and deliver for the Azkals against Bangladesh in a do-or-die game. 1-nil scoreline will be more than enough for our boys.

I suddenly appreciate how strong we are up front now. Always been proud of our back four and GK, now thumbs up to the wingers and strikers! Imagine if we had Phil... Once we get our choice midfielders back, oh ho ho... (big evil grin) As for Weiss, keep it up, good sir! I like these new attacking Azkals!

In this match I think we've found the missing links that would help coach Weiss' side transition into an attacking team... Aggression and pressure on the ball.
An attacking side doesn't just mean fancy passing. It's interesting to note that Barcelona, for me the world's best attacking side, play with aggression and high pressure from the front... so much so that Messi his fellow attackers have more chances of picking up yellow cards than their defenders!
I've always been skeptical of Weiss' claims to build an attacking side and watching the Azkals spineless attacks since the first leg against Mongolia I've been more skeptical. Why? Our attacks were flimsy and lacking drive. (Attack, lose the ball, jog back. Attack, lose the ball, jog back... like, what's with THAT?! There was no closing down on the ball in the attacking third of the pitch.)
But if the AGGRESSION and PRESSURE become permanent features of the Azkals then we could just be the hottest attacking side on this side of the Pacific.
Kudos to Weiss. More of the aggression, please. UP THE AZKALS!

pero in fairness kay coach wise, unti unti na natin nadedevelop yung mga locals at kita mo naman nagpapalit siya ng tao depending sa game situation which is a good indication of him a good coach. Dati kasi kay caslib at simon paminsan minsan lang tayo makakita ng subs eh .... parang walang tiwala sa ibang players.
