Yeah, it depends on the individual of course. But I think peak physical strength for footballers is probably around that age range. Career-wise, defenders probably last longer and goalkeepers last the longest. i agree pre mostly strikers and wingers apektado talga. alako lng still acive pa si RAUL playing middle east club ata in 40's na striker/winger

tgasb;D well, its a PFF sanctioned tournament, so it should be best of the best from each team. did you watch the finals? Cebu is basically maintaining the same possesion percentage as in the elimination rounds. its just that we couldn't finish effciently without those 2 strike partnerts from DBTC. Iloilo plays the same style as Caligdongesque style, kick and run. Even the crowds there are enthralled by the Cebuano U-13. It is as if they are from the same school. Individually, Iloilo players still ahead in flair and physical attributes (faster, more brave and quicker on the ball). Cebu players are more on techniques and ball control. Iloilo's goal are all individual efforts while Cebu's are a product of an intricate sequence of passing and off the ball maneouvering. ah ganun b nice to know. ang alam ko lng kasi sa football sa cebu si paul weiler. hehehe. run kick shot effective pa rin sa inyo khit euro style na sa inyo. paano pa yan pag mag euro style pa yung iloilo players. if you cant beat them join them! hehehe. saan ba na held ang tournament sa cebu? bka na food poison yung iloilo players...hehehe joke lng the games was held in san carlos city not cebu..bakit mahirap ba tanggapin na matalo ang iloilo? btw cebu beat wvprisaa in national prisaa yesterday... ;D

ababjust watch the PFF U23 qualifiers this April 15 to 19 and lets see if what you're blabbing about is still correct. if Cebu wins, then it would mean that the project is a resounding success. Some of players in the Cebu U-23 are the pioneers of the grassroots projects(M. Lhuiller Under-7s) started on the late 90s. BTW: Paul Weiler is just like you, a poseur who claims what he doesn't understand. P. Weiler is a con-man but the CFA is not falling thru his antics. Only the PFF acknowledge him, but gladly the current administration of the PFF already kicked his bu*t.

Negros occ is also no push-over they are so dominating on the college level..maybe they can carry it on this u-23 tourney.. on topic:

I noticed the natural rivalries between cities and regions in this thread. We should really take advantage of this by setting up a truly national professional premier league that can take advantage of this rivalries to promote the sport in our country and that we can pattern on what we see in Spain(Real Madrid and Barcelona) and England(Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea). Manila because of its larger population base can have several teams and because all regions are represented in Manila will give this regions a natural away fan base in the capital.

Ang alam ko may GF siyang pinay na taga Visayas. ano ba naitulong ni Paul Weiler sa Cebu Football? Tanungin mo CFA at FC Inter Cebu na Paul Weiler claimed he was a founding member and business representative Umangat na nga di ba tinalo namin kayo ng 6-1 sa Under-13? Now tingnan natin if kaya na namin ang Under-23 ninyo.

Lots of Cebu Gems fans attend their games.
