Bahrain scores. 3-1
Sayed Alawi ghosts into the area with little resistance and rounds out Sacapano. Weiss throws a bottle of mineral water in disgust.

At least our trip to Bahrain has gained us a reputation for attracting crowds. Apparently they are considering us for a four nation tournament next year with strong teams like UAE and Saudi Arabia. This will give our team valuable experiences playing strong teams, especially if we can field a full or nearly full lineup. It reminds me why the USSF through their marketing agency SUM Marketing always organizes events for the Mexican national team here in the US, as it always fills up stadiums. The PFF should take advantage of this opportunity to charge an appearance fee to the hosts or a cut of the tickets sold just like the Mexican team does. sports.inquirer.net/7889/bahrain-eyes-azkals-for-four-nation-tournament-training-camps

What the heck?! I'm not gonna criticise Sacapano again, but I still think Etheridge would have done so much better. What the heck happened to the defence? Were they not playing with a back 4, or was one of the defenders constantly not in his position?! Now I know why coach Weiss threw the water bottle. But anyway, they seem to have made a pattern of losing test matches but winning the big match. I hope the pattern continues.

Back 4? On the 2 goals scored, I counted only 3 defenders, not including the GK. On the corner kick, I did not see the challenge.

looks like Coach Weiss experimenting Anton at CB and Sabio at RB. Seems that Anton struggled on this position. Manny Ott was amazing! Good field vision, very nice play with Chieffy.

line-up GK: Sacapano DF: Rosario, Sabio, Boromeo MF:Gener, Caligdong, JYH, Ott, De Jong ST: Burkey (sub) for angel, Araneta (sub) for phil
I think it's 3-5-2 formation

If you look at closely at the last goal, the goalscorer was played onside by our defender (No. 19 I think). What the heck was he thinking?!! He could see the whole build up as it happened right in front of him and yet he kept on running thus making the goalscorer onside. Come on man!

Yeah good observation, should had played offside trap that time (1:13). It was Nestor Margase no. 19

Back 4? On the 2 goals scored, I counted only 3 defenders, not including the GK. On the corner kick, I did not see the challenge. I replayed that corner kick goal just to make sure it was true, and yes, no one from the Azkals jumped and two of the Bahrain players did. Friendly or not the defense has to disrupt that header. On the other hand, Chieffy made no mistake on that opportunity.
