these koreans came to iloilo not to get an education but to train to be better football players. they are funded and coached by koreans. their sponsors crunched the numbers and found that its cheaper to intensively train a WHOLE team abroad than at home. they are not the varsity football team of the school, cpu has their own varsity team. but they bring along two local players when they play tune up matches. composed mostly of 17-19 year olds, the team is a technically sound, disciplined and has excellent first touch. the only drawback against an experienced team like the azkals is their age, they might buckle under intense pressure before seasoned players. but still, i think they(koreans) are at par or better than the mongols. they came here as footballers, being a student is only secondary.

@ beho as far as i know these korean came her to play football and learn english at the same time..yes they are not our school varsity players but in most football events that dont require filipino citizenship they were the one chosen to represents CPU (likes UNIGAMES and ILOILO FOOTBALL CLUB TOURNAMENT) they dont let their opponents score over them . Just like what happen on previously concluded Iloilo Football Tournament they score 6-0 over the Stallion from manila for the championship...their coach is Dr. Pee also a korean and has another korean assistant coach..the "adopted" 2 CPU pinoy varsity player the goale (Jaypee Coovera) and defense (Elmar Nathaniel Boblo).. last CPU international day celebration they played against the NOPSEA (negros selection that happened to have a practice game with the Azkals last Jan 31) they 3-0.. even with this score Dr. Pee is still not satisfied with the performance of his players..(imagine that)

that's good... sana ganun din ang azkals.. well.. ganun din naman ang azkals nung d2 pa sila sa UMAK nagttraining, after ng training lang sila pwede guluhin ng fans pero during training, focused naman sila... kinaiba nga lang sa CPU is mas matagal na silang team saka mas matagal na sila nagttraining..di ako magugulat kung matatalo azkals sa game nila.

syempre azkals pa rin.. mejo na disappoint lang ako sa game nila against Negros' pick.. pero based sa review ng CPU, may chance din ang mga un na talunin ang azkals.. so I'm also preparing myself with that para di na ko madisappoint.. pero go azkals pa rin!
