inquirer.net/sports/articles/Lucena-Gier-boost-Azkals-in-Rangoon.htmlLooks like we will only have Rob Gier for the first 2 games and Jerry Lucena for the last 2 games in Myanmar. We will be vulnerable without Gier at centerback in the third game but by then hopefully we have qualified. Also the PFF has appealed to the Indonesian federation to have De Jong released. Will see what happens. Hopes high for De Jong...

I think Sir Dan and the rest of the management failed or forgot to contact Many Ott. Last time Many was about to come to the Philippines to play in the 1st leg against Mongolia but have to cancel his trip in the last minute after knowing that his name was not included in the list. Many I think is really good in Midfield at 18-19 he was already a starter in the AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 qualifiers under Coach McMenemy. We should expose Many Ott more in the International level as he is one of our priced Assets for the U23 SEA games this November.

No live feed on the Myanmar games. Footage would be shown 1 week later since it has to be screened first by Junta's Ministry of Misinformation ;D No updates also since basically no Internet on Myanmar.

Burma (Myanmar) Country Specific Information Computers, Internet, and Email: The military regime carefully controls and monitors all Internet use in Burma and restricts Internet access through software-based censorship that limits the materials individuals can access online. The government has allowed cyber cafes to open, but access to the Internet is very expensive, and access to most “free” international e-mail services such as Hotmail and Yahoo is prohibited. Currently, Gmail (Google mail) accounts can be accessed in Burma, and many locals and resident expatriates use it. It is illegal to own an unregistered modem in Burma. You may bring one laptop computer into Burma but must declare it upon arrival. Limited email service is available at some large hotels. All emails are subject to monitoring by Burmese security services. It is very expensive to send photographs via email. One foreign visitor was presented a bill for $2,000 after transmitting one photograph via a major hotel's e-mail system. During September and October 2007, the military government disconnected all internet access across the country for extended periods of time. source: travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/cis/cis_1077.html---so it's super delayed telecast what a bad news. thanks for the info just keep on updating us thank u again.

Any reports from Myanmar (Burma) about team Azkals... Looks like there will be a long blackout period of updates for the entire week starting the 21st, I would have prefered if they play in Malaysia instead in group B...

Great to see the discussion here but sorry I will post on the Facebook Pinoyfootball page or just www.pinoyfootball.com to avoid politics, as I am sure you understand we want to stay safe. However we are still in KL at the airport so I wanted to see how active the forum was, great to see it buzzing!

It will be hard for us to get any news from our team..Junta is super strict when it comes to news..Super KJ... BTW..why is the AFC even allowed Myanmar to host any international competitions?
