What time does the game start against Laos? I am in Scotland and wonder if anyone knows where i can get a stream showing the game so i can watch it. Simon McMenemy is my cousin!

Congratulations on the Vietnam win! Biggest win in the Azkal's modern history.
In one of the other boards there was a comment that Coach McMenemy can be coach for this Suzuki Cup tournament even without the required certification/license for a national team coach because the requirements were relaxed. But for the long term and for other tournaments he needs to have the certification.
Can someone clarify that? What certification(s) is it? How long does it take to get it?

I'm glad we have Simon McM to guide the team. I've heard people either lambast the PFF for choosing a non-Filipino, or laud the PFF for getting someone from abroad to provide a different perspective of the game. I really don't care where he's from. If the team learns a lot from him, discovers and plays on its strengths, and improves, then all's good! Merry Christmas to the coach - and I hope we'll all get a happy new year ahead of us in futbol!

Hi delfin, good point.
I don't know if there are any rules/moderators here but if I may suggest, try to post in English since we have members abroad.
Thanks

By the way the "good point" refers to Simon McMenemy's achievement with the team.
That Barong Tagalog comment is off-base.

Wearing a barong during games is just ridiculous. I've never seen the Japanese coach wear a hakama in the sidelines. Wearing it in formal occasions? Now that might be a good idea.
Congratulations on a job well done, Coach. And I hope you've learned a lesson on what NOT to do, what picture taking to avoid, how to act in public, while coach of a national team. By all accounts it's not a serious issue and it may be because Pinoys are a forgiving type. I just hope distractions won't be serious enough to affect team performance.
