And the line up released was for the Peace Cup and not for the Suzuki Cup I think. Kindly correct me if I'm wrong though.

First time I'm hearing of John Kanayama. Still no sign of recent targets Alvaro Silva, Stephan Palla and Mike Ott. John Kanayama is a global fc player. Apparently he's very young and an interesting prospect. If I'm not mistaken his 19 years old. He was originally from Azkalroos.

Suzuki Cup draw today at 3 PM(Manila time).
Coach Dooley is currently in Vietnam to participate in the draw. He apparently promised to address the issue regarding Schrock and Cagara in a Press Conference by Wednesday or Thursday when he comes back to Manila.

I personally think 'Australia' is disrespecting the AFC by not joining the AFF suzuki cup. AFC accepted them with "open arms" when they left OFC. So to return the favor, they should join AFF suzuki cup. Even if they just fill the team with reserve players. They should respect and observe AFC/Asian football rules. They shouldn't think of themselves as an exception, because they're so good. I think it's more a schedule clash with the Asian Cup in Jan 2015. This will be an issue in the future when AFF teams qualifies for the Asian Cup. The 2016 edition will be perfect to look at 'fringe' players and create depth.

Looks like we evaded the group of death this time. Especially if Myanmar tops the qualifiers.

Still hard to be over confident obviously Vietnam I Think were the host here and they want some revenge coming from a 2-0 loss last 2010, Indonesia is also a Good Team.

I think we are the dark horse in this group and at least not the underdog anymore

Dooley: On paper,we may have the easy group but we need to prepare for every game like its last one.We cant xpect to win.All abt performance Dooley: Gives you a bit of confidence. But we still need to deliver. Araneta: we hope to continue the consistency of good performance in suzuki cup. Palami: we're ranked No 1 in Southeast asia.I hope we live to that ranking. Thats challenge to coach and team.Challenge we intend to conquer There has been some discussion of Australian side (not A-team) could join suzuki cup in 2016 and 2018. Dooley: anything is possible (in Suzuki Cup). We have to win it now. Its the pressure we have to live with it now. We have to win it. Palami: Suzuki Cup preps on hold because of draw. Now that everything is done, we can proceed. Palami: Finalizing plans of couple of games in Canada and US (Oct 6-14)z also Plans to hold camp in Qatar before Suzuki Cup Palami: I dont think we have a choice but to place 1st and 2nd. We have to prepare well. Preparation is better than we've had so far. Palami: Our experience in Challenge Cup gave us glimpse on areas need to improve.Peace Cup the gauge for us on how to take Suzuki Cup preps

What's the head to head against Indonesia? Did we win our last match against them? No we lost the last friendly against them. They have a lot of new, strong players on the team.
