Can someone explain to me why this team is so good?. I mean yeah they have a decent sponsor. But if you look closely their not a financial powerhouse like global or loyola-meralco. Most of their players does not even have pro experience except for beloya and marasigan. Unlike global where most of the players have pro and international football experience. Yet they still manage to beat teams like global and other big dogs.
(Mmm..I wonder)

Ceres-LaSalle FC is a financial powerhouse maybe not like LMS(Meralco) but definitely at par if not more than Kaya, Global& GAU & that's not yet counting the "LaSalle" part. It has its own field. In an away game - while Stallion rent a place in Manila & CQCU FC had to fly the same day to avoid renting - Ceres FC built a permanent academy to stay at. It can also maintain a competitive senior team & an U23 team.
They have almost no distractions when preparing for tournaments. Stayed together for 4 months just focused on football. Their fitness & discipline more than make up for whatever they lack in individual talent. 2x a day training, yoga + extra indiviual training. Some players are already asleep at 8pm!
Another thing that makes them good is that the players are happy. Management does not mind splurging if it can improve cohesion & camaraderie.

e sir panu na kung meron tayong national league. dba hindi pde ang pangalan ng ceres dahil company name. at sbi ng PFF nka based dw yung name sa lugaer kung san yung club. e dba nka base ang ceres sa bacolod.
i think ceres would be fit in our national league hindi na cla mag kakaroon ng problem about transportation ang daming bus ng ceres.. haha
sana sa national league natin meron kanya kanyang busses ang mga teams Division 1 and Division 2. para mag daan cla sa kanilang town malalaman na cla nga yun..

this club is being run by a big bus company in the country. they scout players from any part of visayas & mindanao, they have a strict system, that's why they're very fun to watch. i hope they'll consider joining UFL this year

(Mmm..I wonder) I haven't been to that part of Negros but I do have a friend who plays for Philippines youth team before and he's from Negros. It's like basketball in most part of our country, they eat with them, they wake up with the ball, they most likely has the best grassroots program in the country. They are very well disciplined talking about football. They have a lot of venues/pitch to play on. They have all the great coaches, mentor, almost everything you need to learn football. They have tournaments every month, they have a lot of companies that sponsor teams. It is really the hotbed of football here in our country.

The Yanson Group of Bus Companies (owners of Ceres) is actually the largest bus company in the country and maybe even in SEAsia. They own Ceres (Visayas), Ceres Transport (Luzon), Rural Transit and Bachelor Express (both in Mindanao). So yes, they are a financial powerhouse and Leo Rey (who manages Ceres-La Salle FC) is the president of the company. Their U23 team is the Ceres-Negros team.

Update: "Patrick Reichelt joins Ceres"
I know that most people already know that Patrick Reichelt moved to Ceres. I just want to post this on Ceres FC's official thread in this forum.

Looks like a powerhouse team in the making. I think they will make waves next year if they win the championship and join the 1st division.
