Yup Chris Greatwich at attacking Midfielder and Guirado as Withdrawn striker would be better. Take Araneta out and have Phil as the striker up top. Coach Weiss needs to see what combination works best in the friendlies prior to the games. There will also be tryouts for other players as well and one of them might emerge to fill a spot.

Araneta is not very good for a starting striker, he is better off as a sub. He should be replaced, hopefully the ongoing scouting would find one!

Chris Greatwich can play if Weiss decides to go for an attacking play.
If he decides to park the bus it would be better to pair up De Jong and Lucena since they are both defensive midfielder.

sana nga available na si Chris Greatwich. why not try Yanick Tuason? baka magaling sya. base on that formation, pwede din ilagay si Guirado instead of Araneta then si C. Greatwich nalang sa position ni Guirado na nakalagay dyan

Araneta and Caligdong should be out of the starting XI especially against Kuwait.

ian definitely our for me. make him a super sub than a starter. phil and angel upfront. james and chiefy on the wings. de jong and lucena holding midfielders. it would really be critical for us since we have a lot of talented players that are not playing for us yet. its really a dilemma its either we play them but our team chemistry might suffer. the player that i am really excited to see is cagara. he has pace he can shoot he can defend he do overlaps when he plays left back. i think we can use him more on the wings rather than a left back. he has so offensive skills that he can use rather being at the back.

dapat talaga pinakamagaling na players ang maglaro against Kuwait because this team is not a joke. Kuwait team was the 2010 Gulf Cup of Nations Winners beating good teams like Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iraq and Qatar (host of 2022 FIFA WQ) . how 'bout this line-up?

My take: As what we did in Bangladesh we implemented 3-5-2 formation, more offensive type form. Given Schrock and Cagara playing for the WC qualifiers, I'll move Del Rosario at center back (could also use Rob Gier as an alternative) then put Capt Aly at holding Midfielder. Lucena could be flexible as a defensive midfileder or a playmaker. CHirs Greatwich an Attacking Midfielder. Jonsson solid at left back, I placed Cagara as left winger (could be interchangeable). Then upfront Angel and Phil. Subs: Gier S. Greatwich/De Jong Tuason/Barsales What you guys think?

as of now wala pang news about kang Cagara. sana available sya.. another option, assuming David Alaba will play..hehe David Alaba is already captied to Austria and not available to us. You also got your backs on the wrong side. Schrock plays right back for his team and Cagara who is naturally left footed plays the left side. Cagara has not fully committed yet and postponed his decision to join the team. He was unemployed for a long time because of injury and only signed recently with Randers on a short term contract until June. His main priority is to sign a long term contract with a team. He has also expressed desire in the recent past of hoping to make the Danish team though his chances of doing that is quite small. I would place Cagara if available at left midfield bec. of his versatility on attack and defence from that side of the field while leaving Jonsson at left back. This are the possible candidates I earlier posted in the WC qualifying thread: A. Guirado/ P Younghusband/Gould/ Reichert?/Araneta Espinosa-Gueridon (LM)J.L. Guirado?/D. Cagara?/Caligdong (DM)Lucena/De Jong/ (AM)A Guirado/C. Greatwich/S Greatwich (RM)J Younghusband/Schrock/ Potschke? R. Jonnson/Cagara?/J.L. Guirado? A. Borromeo Rob Gier/J. Sabio A. Del Rosario/Schrock/Ortelli? N. Etheridge/ Muller?/Falkesgaard? This lineup is quite strong and deep and will give trouble to any potential team we will face in the WC qualifiers. It has elements of height, speed and creativity especially at midfield, the above players being interchangeable and can play either a possession attacking style or a more direct Scandinavian approach. The goaltender alternates(Muller and Falkesgaard), Cagara, Ortelli, Potschke, Reichert and Juan Luis Guirado have a question mark because they are not part of the team yet although Ortelli has signified his intention to tryout in June. It is interesting that in this lineup we have 3 potential sets of brothers which will help improve the team chemistry. There are also younger players that can add even further to the depth of the team, like Van Bossche, Manny Ott, Drinkuth, Hinricksen and Herget who have tried out and been seen by the staff already and V. Ocampo and other Fil Ams who is planning to attend the trials in the US in April. They definitely need to find goaltender alternatives to Etheridge though and the above mentioned candidates should be looked into. Assuming all of these players will be available and since Weiss prefers an attacking formation even saying that he would like to use a 4-3-3, this is what the starting lineup could look like. footballformation.co.uk/team/433/010411154626.pngSince Reichert is not part of the team yet and unproven, I wouldn't mind having C. Greatwich in his place at well in the above starting lineup. or in a diamond 4-4-2: footballformation.co.uk/team/442d/010411163443.png

cjeagle: Im sorry about that. that right back supposed to be the position for Shrock like what i've posted. and left back for cagara. speaking about goalie. we can try the goalkeeper of KAYA FC. Christopher Camcam, he is tall (6'2) and only 16 years old. yes he doesn't have enough experience but he will get in the same level with Etheridge as long as Coach Weiss will use this kid. he only needs exposure. we have a bright future for this kid.
