Great result. Looking forward for the return of Paul Mulders and it has been said that Jerry Lucena will join the team's training camp today so it will even boost the Azkals' chances against the other test matches in germany that they'll be playing.

I can't help but think that there are probably scouts watching the Azkals first hand in Germany. Especially those without clubs this camp is a great way for our players to showcase what they can do. I hope they take advantage of this, and I hope that this will result in some of them getting noticed for a club trial!

Nice to have a first hand view. Can u elaborate more on the game? Who stood out? Any scouts in the stands you noticed? What was the formation used? How did the defence play? Who played the back four and defensive mid? How did the 2 new players, Stefan Schrock, and Oliver Potschke play and what positions did they play at? Who was responsible for the goal given up?

Nice result considering we are still missing players like Jerry Lucena, Dennis Cagara and Paul Mulders.

Who played the back four and defensive mid? How did the 2 new players, Stefan Schrock, and Oliver Potschke play and what positions did they play at? Who was responsible for the goal given up? most outstanding was definately angel guirado. there were many situations were he just encountered 2-3 players at the same time and still made his way, the aachen-dueren selection rly had big problems wit him. the formation was 4-2-3-1 i guess and the back four were anton, aly, ray and oliver. the next two were schroecky and manuel next 3 were james angel and chieffy. striker weas phil. my top 5 players (in order of best performance) 1. angel guirado (just such an unstoppable beast) 2. phil younghusband (nice technic and always at the right spot) 3. james younghusband (nice passes) 4. schroecky (superb positionplay but also pushing good the offense 5. chieffy (big running load) but the whole team played extremely well, congratz again, rly impressive. i think sri lanka is not a problem at all. especially when mulders, cagara and lucena will join up. but that team we saw today should also be capable of beating them.

Thanks rubivoks. sounds like angel is dominating again like the challenge cup. I like the forward pairing of guirado and Phil Y. Hard to stop both of them. With Paul Mulders controlling the middle, keeping possession and serving assists, they are going to score a lot of goals.

I like that set-up. During the game if the Azkals feel they have control of the midfield, Angel can push up alongside Phil and Mulders slots into Angel's place behind the 2 strikers and that still leaves Lucena free to shield the back four and stop counters while also opening up space for Schrock and Jonsson to push higher.
