cjeagle: you are sure the game is June 20th? you wrote something about 22th June before. from where you have the informations? btw. they are playing today against the U19 (under 19 years) team from bonn. they are playing in the highest league (Bundesliga West), so it will be also not so easy for the azkals

I took the info from the Azkals Philippines football account www.facebook.com/Azkals.ph and the PFSA account who are both based on Germany. It is also posted on several other facebook accounts. Since you are in Germany and can speak German, you might want to check their website as well or call up the team before you go. In fact if you find any info about the game in any german papers and website, please translate it for us. Thanks.

Well since we are on the topic of Germany here, just wanted to mention that the German U-20 Women's team has found an interesting way of promoting their team. Check the videos forum for details courtesy of Ryan Fenix's blog.

from german news-page Am Mittwoch spielt er mit der Nationalmannschaft in Niederau gegen eine Auswahl kreisdürener Fußballer. Die wird von Bernd Lennartz, dem Coach des Mittelrhein-Ligisten Viktoria Arnoldsweiler betreut, der Spieler seines Vereins, aber auch des FC Düren-Niederau, der SG GFC Düren 99 und anderer Klubs berufen hat. means it was a selection of players from some teams around aachen / Düren. the most players are playing in the "Mittelrhein-Liga" (6. german league) Thank you Raul for making it clear. But i just found that FC Duren-Niederau and SG GFC Duren 99 both belong to Landesliga Mittelrhein, one step lower than Mittelrheinliga, and thus a 7th-tier league. ergebnisdienst.fussball.de/tabelle/landesliga-staffel-2/mittelrhein/landesligen/herren/spieljahr1011/mittelrhein/M23S1011W230003AtabelleSo, it looks like we faced just amateur players in the first game. And now we're facing U-19 squad of a 4th-tier league club Bonner SC ? I don't really get it. Of course we all know German standard of football is one of the best in the world, but still this schedule is way too comfortable and thus unhelpful for a senior national team. Yes "the real deal" FC Ingolstadt is coming next, but now i'm starting to doubt if we'll face the actual first team squad of em. It seems more likely that they will show up with mainly the reserve squad, FC Ingolstadt II, Manny Ott's colleagues. Well it's still way stronger team than the first two opponents though. I just hope it's not gonna be another U-19 squad.
