LA GALAXY match Ticket prices and details to be released today: 1. Tickets for Dec 3 match 2. Tickets for Dec 2 LA Galaxy practice 3. Tickets for Dec 3 LA Galaxy clinic for Bantay Bata kids
"If the choice was between LA Galazy playing the Azkals and high ticket prices or them not playing here at all what would you choose? Sadly the ticket prices will almost certainly be expensive but that is what it takes to bring LA Galaxy here, look at who is playing for them, I hope we can all be understanding. The organisers have set the ticket price, PFF are providing the Azkals and making sure it is on TV for that I hope we will be thankful when the prices are announced later today, thanks. This friendly match should be titled: "HOW TO ALIENATE FOOTBALL FANS IN THREE DAYS OR LESS"
I paid only 100 Baht to watch Real Madrid (R.Carlos, Ronaldo, Figo, Zizou, Becks, and Co.). I got great seats too, just above the tunnel so I could watch them walk out onto the pitch. Plus, Real Madrid's open training was FREE. It doesn't get any better than that!
My friend from the States flew all the way to Bangkok to watch Liverpool play because in the end it was cheaper than going all the way to England to watch one game.
And I thought we wanted to bring the beautiful game to the masses so why can't we make it cheap?
I guess committing seppuku for the PFF isn't cheap anymore. *sigh*

Wow this is so expensive for a small club. Chelsea's 2011 friendly in malaysia only costs 250 singapore dollar with practice/actual match. But maybe because the malaysian stadium was big enough to accomodate a full house 50-60k fans compared to rizal with only max of 25k?

This is the price we have to pay for having such a small stadium. We certainly will find out if football now has the drawing power to fill a stadium in Manila. I think this prices is comparable to watching a concert from a high priced celebrity from abroad and the football players from the LA Galaxy are just that, high priced celebrities. I hope they have a sold out stadium. It is a big gamble for the organizers. If they can fill up the stadium at this prices, expect other teams to follow.
Does anybody know how this prices compare to the NBA All Stars exhibition game recently against Smart Gilas and the PBA All Stars?

I sure hope that this event will be successful. It'll definitely help if the Galaxy wins the MLS Final and become champs. The good news is that there does seem to be a scramble for tickets even as early as now. The PFF and Palami have got to bring in as many of our own "Dream Team" stars as well. If we can't have a larger stadium then someone's gotta glam up what's there for now. Put Recaro seats and a butler service for those paying 15K or something.

Rizal Memorial can only fit 12.8k people.
Gelora Bung Karno can fit 80k. Bukit Jalil can fit 87k. Ettihad Stadium a.k.a. Docklands in Melbourne can fit 53k. That Thailand Stadium Buddha was referring to above fits 65k.
Let's cut the organizers some slack here. Not defending them, but it ain't easy what they just pulled out here. And these guys aren't like MVP who can just easily dismiss losses like how he pulled off the SMART Ultimate All-Star Weekend.
If you cannot afford it, do the next best thing: organize a viewing party.

If they do sell out, expect the PFF to take their cue from this and charge even higher prices when the Azkals play high profile friendlies in the future.
